I removed the rubber bumpers under the seat on my zero turn mower and replaced them with these springs. The rubber caps from another review prevent metal to metal contact. The springs have a bit of bounce the rubber things didn’t have. They work well.

These are not a replacement for a John Deere 115 seat spring, unless you want to swap out the screws also. These are much bigger then the original spring.

As the headline of this review says, you might want to use these instead of cheap 3 inch "seat springs for bobber motorcycle". Made of better metal, the support provided is much more comfortable, and it's by far easier to get a bolt and washer inside each spring for mounting purposes. I will upload photos of the install soon, and will remove this "notification message" in my edit. ... show more
