Seat is very sturdy when connected to wheel base! Very comfortable and easy adjustment. I'm a medium sized guy and just barely fit in the seat comfortably. If your of larger build keep this in mind when purchasing!

After having the Wheel Stand 2.0 for 2 years, it was finally time to upgrade! This is a great companion piece to the Wheel Stand, it's comfortable, looks great, and really feels as stable as a modular add-on to a free standing piece like the Wheel Stand 2.0. However, I felt like the assembly was a bit odd; the part that connects the chair to the stand is a bit fussy, and even with the adjustable feel, it feels like the wheel stand is higher off the ground than the chair. Also, the adjustability is a bit hard because you can't adjust the height of the wheel independently from the distance from the user since the Wheel Stand extends out on an angle. I wish for it to be closer to me, but when I get the desired distance, it is a bit too high. But that is more of an issue the wheel stand, not the chair, and it seems like a trade off for having something you can upgrade versus a full on cockpit.

It is a pretty cool addon to make the wheel stand a full cockpit, but it was quite the pain to set up. Not to mention the product I received was missing a bolt that connects the leg to the stand. Also, the $500 price tag isn't worth it, it likely would be better to save the money towards a proper cockpit rather than getting the two pieces separately

Im 6 feet tall 220lbs, this char is way too narrow for me. Buyer beware, this seat is extreamly uncomfortable. NLR is an amazing company on the other had, the plastic cover for the reclining mechanism was completely shattered when it arrived. NLR was very quick to replace.

Edit: The reclining seat mechanism already broke, and if it was user serviceable the seatback would not have had to be attached at the factory causing this to be shipped by freight and I might have been able to fix it. ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! I have not known the wonders of a reclining seat for watching movies and generally relaxing... I Like this. As a sim rig it's a nice stiff connection to the dd wheel stand and flex isn't a issue, everything assembles nice and tight. I want more tapped holes so I can use the shifter mount as a mouse platform, I know how to make them but I want them stock as a option, just a few more seconds to tap some more holes farther down the rail

I bought this add on seat for my next level racing wheel stand 2.0 and it works excellent. Put it together in less than a hour and I also have it on caster wheels. I'm 6'5 240lbs. The seat makes my tailbone hurt after a while, but with a seat pillow it's all good. Would buy again and recommend it to friends.

Purchased a Next Level Wheelstand 2.0 and Fanatec Wheel base and pedals first as I wanted to see if I'd really get in to Sim racing. So addictive! I purchased the GT seat add on to complete the cockpit. Easy installation, very comfortable and great quality! Highly recommend.
