Mounting was easy to set up. However I'm one that doesn't like plastic stuff being in Arizona and the sun takes its toll on plastic. So I over installed using 10 gauge wire to insure the latch doesn't actually open on wear out, used same gauge wire to secure the front latching. Drilled holes across the front support and used bailing wire after weighing it down to secure the not fro t fastener design. I'm not a fan of the fluttering at over 40 mph. So I used pool noodles sliced open to wrap around the cross beams which eliminated 75% of the fluttering. Update 4/25/25 after a trip.. purchased some swimming pool noodles and cut down the center. Slipped them over the side beams which gives the top less flittering at high speeds.

I was a bit confused about the sizing given on the pictures of this cover, the picture shows this will fit on a 6 foot 6 tenths of a foot truck bed, but not a 6 foot, 7 inch truck bed. I was scratching my head on this, as 6foot 6 tenths is roughly the same as 6 foot 7 inches. Ok??? And where do I measure from?? and measure to?? But I took the gamble, placed the order, and after a small shipping snafu, the cover arrived. It installed in about 20 minutes, and I think it will go on and off quicker in the future. I used it to keep the truck bed covered on a 1400 mile trip, and it worked perfectly. The way you trip the mechanism to be able to roll it up requires you to open the tailgate, which on my silverado, the tailgate can be locked, meaning this even gave my items in the bed some security. The only downside I found was the time we tried to roll the cover up as we were in a hurry, in the dark, and we got it a bit uneven in the roll. unrolling it, we found we missed putting the supports down correctly into the rail locations, and we had to back up, roll it back up and start over. No big deal, lesson learned. Now I am trying to figure out how to put one on my other truck, but it has a headache rack, so gotta think about that.

All hardware that was included allowed me and a friend to install this tonneau in pretty quick fashion and with little issue on a '16 Sierra. We cleaned all surfaces first. And then installed. Perfect fit. Speaking of, I'm a little confused at the listing bed sizing. Me bed is definitely 6.5ft and this is listed for 6.6? I also do not believe there were that many bed length choices for these year GM trucks. Maybe I'm wrong. It's a bit confusing though. Whatever, the tonneau is great. It seals well and does not flap when going down the highway. It's secure and I feel confident in keeping things back there with it on. It's easy to open and close. The quality is quite good and comparing it to past more expensive bed covers, it feels as good if not better in quality. If this tonneau can be had at around 170 dollars it's a heck of a good buy. I do recommend it and actually have already recommended it to my Brother In Law.

I really wanted this bed cover to work, but unfortunately, we ran into issues during installation. The instructions were mostly clear until we got to the adjustment screws—that part was confusing, and we ended up stripping them out. We had replacement screws, but somehow, the originals got stuck inside the cover piece where they were supposed to go, making it impossible to use the replacements. I reached out to support for help or a possible replacement cover piece, but they denied it. After going back and forth with them for a while, we ended up losing the replacement adjustment screws, adding to the frustration. In the end, we never got to install it. This was supposed to be a nice gift for my husband, but unfortunately, we’ll have to find another option. That said, the cover itself seems like decent quality for the price, and I’m sure it would have been great for making better use of our truck bed—if only we could have installed it.
