I got a small bass boat that was in serious need of a remodel. It was so bad it looked like Mad Max was a movie from the recent past- not the future. I endeavored to do a makeover the likes of which the Home Improvement channel had never even seen… Alas, I would need to add a lot of lighting, electronics and other doodads to get there. And I’d need a box. One box, to control them all… my precious- blue led black box. With two USB charging portals. And a voltage meter that is absolutely sweet, because I’m using straight deep cycle juice, and need to know when the battery is running dry. So despite the wiring looking complicated and out of a WWII cryptographer movie… it was pretty straightforward and simple to install. I ran my blue ambient leds, my white leds, running light, navs, bilge, and live well to it, and it’s worked perfectly without any hiccups, whatsoever. I wired it up, so the leds stay on when the main power switch is on, and then so that the secondary lights come on when the button has been flipped to the “on” position as you can see in my photo (bilge and live well pump are on). Definitely brought my boat back to the future and I think Doc would be proud! Highly recommend! ... show more

I bought this to control the numerous items on work truck. As with many things from Amazon, the packaging looked like it had been used for football practice. Surprisingly the device didn't have a negative mark on it. While the switch panel is pre-wired, I wish it had not been. These are wired in series, creating potential for complete system failure. Keeping in mind though, this panel does NOT carry device load, so the overall risk of failure is low. This panel can carry a few amps, though relays should be used, for many reasons, Fire being of main concern! I have not tripped any of the resettable fuses, so not sure to value. I am running mA through switches to relays. This is a solid aluminum panel with all switches and ports installed. I have replaced two of the round ports with something that fits my needs better. Overall, I think this item is overpriced, however, it is probably the one item in system I am not to concerned with. It is not flimsy. It does the job well. Switches and ports are easily swapped out. I intend to buy two more of these! ... show more

Works...with moving a wire was able to make it a master switch...one spot the one switch light stay one...another spot no lights unless on...which is how I made it...for a pontoon boat
