I have never had any problem with any Nilight stuff but these are really not that great. I have them as tight as I can get them but the slip around the rails very easily. The smaller rubbers that come with them are too small for my 7/8 rail and the larger ones fit but you cant tighten them up anymore. I wish there was a middle of the road rubber that held better. I love Nilight products and I just wish I could have returned these when I had the chance. They have been getting me by but they really should remedy the rubber insert situation. Just calling it like I see it folks...

I bought these to mount a couple 4" Nilight floods, and a 37" Nilight light bar. As I prepare for an overlanding trip, I have found a couple other uses for these and have yet to even mount the lights. A pair of these made for a good start to mount some traction boards to my cargo basket, and 4 more were a great alternative to the cheap mounting hardware that came with an awning also mounted to the cargo basket. I actually had to order more so I can complete what I originally intended as well as some spare to keep on hand In short, these are beefy brackets that could be used to mount all kinds of stuff to a UTV/ATV/SXS frame, roll cage, exo-cage, or cargo basket. I could even see them used on tents with rigid poles, EZ-ups, or even stroller - anything with round tube stock. Buy with confidence, and buy extras - you will find a use for them!! Note the kits vary by tubing diameter…
