Color: 7 Way Trailer Light Tester
I bought this to validate that the factory-installed connector on my new car works correctly. This showed that it does. However, the connector on my car is keyed, so the LEDs are face-down when installed. I'm unsure if the car connector is upside down (but looking at online diagrams suggests it might be). The trailer connection won't care, but for this tester this makes it hard to check while plugged into my car. The bottom line is that the tester works (but is awkward when testing on my car). My car connector is operating correctly (though maybe upside down). So, the tester met my needs and was very inexpensive. It also showed that I'm fairly ignorant of current wiring standards (I'm used to the older 4-pin connectors). Like always, there's more to learn. ... show more

Not much to say about this product, it is what it is. It's working for the application I installed it for, spare turn and stop, added running lights and a really bright license plate light. All lighting is front and rear of my FORD F-150 XLT PICKUP. I am running them from the 7 pin connection.
