I have seen many reviews on this camera, and their negative comments are around specifics of this camera that frankly it was not designed for. I see many complaining that it does not have an EVF, buy the Z50 if you want an EVF, The Z50 is basically the Z30 without the EVF but at least you have a more useable flippy screen for what this camera was designed for V-logging. This camera works perfect for what it was designed for and that is people wanting to step up from taking pictures with a phone that has no EVF. Another negative comment says when you flip the screen out to the side the cords are in the way when you have it on a tripod. Well do you want it to flip below and be behind the tripod? do you want it to flip over the top and be behind the cold shoe? do you want it to flip on the right side and have to move all the controls at your thumb? LOL. Your run and go v-logging with this camera so for the most part you are not going to have cords coming out the side. and if you are mounting it on a tripod and using it as a webcam, mount your phone on top of the camera and use it as an even larger more viewable screen that will be more in line with the lens anyways. My v-logging setup ended up being the Nikon Z30, Crane M2s, Smallrig Cage, Smallrig tripod with Nikon Bluetooth remote. ... show more
