seems really good have only had it out ad magic hour and actual night around the down town , at2.8 it was so bright it looked like daytime , compared to my kit lens . in fact i had to do some work to feel like night at all , its not a complaint mind you just shockingly good at night . length before buying i was trying to get a feel for how it would fit in my bag or on the camera , even with the spec i couldn't quite picture it : so its about 3 of the kits lens stacked on each other , or say a viltrox air with the kit lens on top of it , its pretty wide diameter takes up the whole space 67mm filter , it fits in my bag on the camera no problem about 1.5 in on top of a viltrox air 35mm . build is good heavy ,has some weight almost as much as the body . lens is sharp low light awesome , picked up a bunch of moon pics on a nice deep blue color is solid , black and white proper . iso stays low <kit lens would max out all the time > ' price is high honestly , compared to a set of 4 primes from some other company's like viltrox or sigma, tt art or, tamron . and would probably be lighter but this decently has its appeal . getting a set of primes is probably the way to go , if you don't mind changing lenses and carrying everything with you , if like me you just have a cross body sling for the camera it self and walk around with that rather then a whole bag or kit > this is quite nice . ... show more

Exceptional lenz
You can do great macrography with this lens. The difference between this one and traditional macros is you widen your picture frame at any time. Takes great picture. I have Nikon Z 4/24-70 which is the same range without application to shoot macro pictures,

This 24-75mm full frame equivalent lens takes Nikon DX (APS-C) cameras to another level. The constant f/2.8 aperture delivers a pleasant, uncrowded bokeh on par with an f/4 full frame lens. However when it comes to light gathering f/2.8 is f/2.8, irrelevant of being APS-C or full frame. Very fast autofocus on the Z50 II. Very very sharp on center and slightly softer on the edges. Stellar for Z50II owners!
This is an absolute must for the Z50II, the size and light weight are amazing and even handheld video, albeit not while walking, is spectacular! The bokeh while equivalent to F4-4.5 is attractive and the close focus for macro is nuts for a 24-75mm "non-macro" I'm pretty sure they didn't give it the MC stamp because it was released at the same time as the 35mm F1.7 MC. ... show more

Great pairing for a Nikon Zfc
Use this 16-50 F2.8 zoom on a Nikon Zfc. Balances great but slightly heavy as expected since it's a constant F2.8 and has Vibration Reduction. Image quality is the same as the DX primes from Nikon. I also have the Nikkor 18-140/3.5-6.3 DX VR lens which is lighter, skinnier, and slightly longer than the 16-50 lens. I use the 18-140 primarily for outdoor and travel. Otherwise, the 16-50 is bolted to my Zfc. Very satisfied with this zoom. ... show more
