This isn't a top of the line lens but it's great for a light weight walk around lens when you don't want to carry a bunch of heavier stuff. I like this on my Nikon Z5 for travel photography when I want something handy and compact. For its price, the picture quality if very good. At first, I opened up the box and held what I thought was a toy lens. Plasticky, very light, unimpressive in every way. This is not a very expensive lens, so I am not so concerned with the feel. However, the sharpness and quality of the pictures I get are very good, and the primary reason I got it was for my wife to use as her arthritis prevents her from using the larger telephoto and large aperture primes. For that purpose, it is a perfect fit. I am starting to look at third party lenses more though, as the price to performance value of the Nikon lenses is beginning to dwindle for me. ... show more

Great lens for the price I paid 1/2 of what a new one goes for. I figured if there was an issue it would go right back but so far so good and good as a brand new one! Happy with my purchase! Great little standard kit lens for a great price!
