the camera is great, but some of the accessories were useless. the remote switch (mc-dc2) was not the same as what was advertised in the picture. the box for the mc-dc2 clearly says the remote is meant for other cameras, not the coopix p1100. it would not pair with my camera. the tripod is also useless. it is not strong enough to hold the camera up. otherwise, everything else was fine.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I was looking for long range binoculars that identified birds from around 1000 meters…nothing compares. It is steady, focuses in on stuff a million miles away and has wifi connection. Awesome

The camera is a treasure! A fabulous birding lens attached to a not-bad camera. Most of the rest of the stuff in the package is cheap junk, not the items in the photo. The camera won't fit in the gadget bag that was in the box, the tripod won't support the weight of the camera. There was no card reader, and the card holder was not a folding wallet. There was a small lens cloth, some lens cleaner, and an air puffer. I'm going to keep this because the camera without the junk is not available anywhere and I like the camera. If you can find the camera without paying extra for the junk I highly recommend it. Then buy the accessories you want.
