This review is for Nike “Nike Women's Fastback One-Piece”. This is a high quality suit meant for someone that spends a lot of time in the pool and is more concerned about the suit staying in place during a flip turn than looking nice in a lounger. If you don’t need a training/race suit or regularly wear them, be aware that this type of suit is always meant to be very tight and stay in place, but offers minimal support other than being tight. This Fastback does that perhaps too well, and would suit a swimmer with a slightly shorter torso. For me, this was tighter north-south than I would expect on a suit that wasn’t tight around the middle, but it the next size up would be unsupportive and this was already loose enough I can feel it move, just a bit, mid-turn. Great for training but certainly not a race suit, this might be different for people with shorter torsos. I measured this size 30 to be 25in top of straps to bottom of suit when flat; other brands/styles I own and fit well are as much as 26in. The coverage is really good. It’s comfortable all around, and even being tight north/south I don’t feel the wide straps at all even with arms extended. The construction is high quality, with all the seams securely and neatly sewn. The size is printed inside taking some of the guessing out of reordering when this inevitably wears out, but annoyingly the tags need to be cut and leave a little remaining tab that might annoy some wearers. At the price when ordered of $36, this high quality suit is an incredibly good value and is an obvious add into your rotation of practice suits. Nike always has decent longevity and good fade resistance and I expect no less with this suit that seems to be their typical training suit material.

I got this one-piece swimsuit for my daughter who's been doing competitive swimming, and overall we're really happy with it. The support is excellent - she can do flip turns and push off the wall without any shifting or adjusting needed. The wide straps distribute the weight well and don't dig into her shoulders during longer practice sessions. The fabric feels substantial and has held up great to regular chlorine exposure. After several weeks of use, there's no fading or stretching that I can see. The seams are smooth and she hasn't had any chafing issues, which was a problem with her previous suit. However, I have to echo what others have mentioned about the sizing. I ordered her usual size based on the measurements listed, but it was definitely tighter than expected. The suit still works and provides good compression, but I'd definitely recommend going up a size for comfort, especially if you're between sizes. The leg openings sit higher than some suits but give good freedom of movement. It's become her go-to for serious training sessions when she needs something reliable and supportive. She's happy with how it performs during her workouts.

My daughter swims competitively and has never owned a Nike suit, so when I saw this I figured it would be good to try it out. I ordered it in a 26 and it fits her exactly as her normal Speedo or Arena suits fit her! She likes how comfortable it is and how it fits her. The suit is not adjustable, so make sure you order it in the right size. The coverage is very good and modest and the material is really nice quality and feels and has really good durability. She wore it to practice last night and is very happy with the way the suit performs. The suit has really nice value when you compare it to what I normally spend on her suits and is a great practice suit. I would definitely recommend it!

Material seems of high quality and has survived several pool sessions with no issues. I ordered the Nike Fastback suit in midnight navy for my daughter. The suit is very nice and well constructed as I would expect from Nike. The color is exactly as it appeared online and has a nice sheen. The legs are cut really high on the hips. My daughter has an athletic figure with measurements of 34-27-35 so using the sizing chart provided, I ordered the size 30 which should have fit up to 36.5 in the chest, 28.5 in the waist and 38.5 in the hip. This suit would never fit an individual with those body sizes. Pictures are included of the actual suit size. Overall it is a great athletic fit suit and color. I would not rely on the size chart provided and recommend sizing up. In this case we will need to size up from 30 to 34
