I purchased this after wanting to get into night vision solutions. After combing through the reviews and recommendations of the comments on Amazon as well as YouTube channels I decided to try this product out. My main goal was to use these goggles to be able to walk to and from Deer stands or blinds in early morning or evening so I don't give myself away using flashlights. The limited field of view takes some getting used to as well as the refresh rate of the sensor but it is entirely doable to move around in the dark while walking at a brisk pace. I will say after trying it out this is NOT something you'd want to use moving through woods. I constantly found myself running into hanging vines or stumbling on uneven ground. If you have to move through woods, take it slow and use trees for bracers and absolutely turn on the infrared lights so you can cast shadows and get a decent depth of field. Moving on open terrain that is flat is ideal and easy to do and even using the Lunarlight mode (no IR light given off) allows one to traverse well without using lights. Another plus was when I received my unit it had a fully charged battery and between me using it as a tester in and around my house as well as a walk back in the dark after some still deer hunting in an evening hunt the battery is still full or at least it shows full on the HUD icon. I can not wait to use this device even further but for now I am loving it! 5/5 for entry level night vision!

I have only used it for a day, but I can say everything works as it should. It is a very cool product and worth the cost. The Swift 2 pro exceeded my expectations for sure. We will see how it holds together with time. The only thing that was a bit odd was the device kept dimming and brightening at times when i was looking in the yard. As if the reflection off the grass was causing it to dim to counter the brightness, but the darkness of everything else made it brighten up, so it went back and forth. Not bad enough to lower my rating though!

This is a good product and operates as described. Fun to walk around the house in the dark. However it would take a lot of practice to be able to use it for self defense. It's very lightweight, on off and power levels are easy to use. The provided helmet mount is cheap plastic and will break.

It's not worth the amount for the goggles alot of thing that causes it's to mess up the pictures and were the the focus is at is in the wrong place and being veterans and using alot of different types of goggles these goggles have to many problems and everything is backwards for everything like memory card and plug in right behind the rubber seal and the extra items for the headgear you don't get everything to help hold it up

OK, they did work great, well worth the price, but this was short lived. I dropped them onto carpet from 2 feet and thy have not worked since. I have no idea where to get them repaired. 1) i I did drop them to be fair, I just would not expect that to break them. Had that not happened, I would give them 5 stars. 2) These amplify (as clearly stated by the add) 1X. They really can't be used as Goggles, with the amplification., it's really hard to walk. Standing still, they are great. This is not criticizing this product just a note for people looking for googles to walk at night. I have not found any without amplification. Mike

These can see good at night. Others I tried had better vision but were always zoomed. These are normal zoom, but not wide enough view to be moving around too fast. Fun novelty item at best.

WHO THESE ARE FOR : GENERAL PUBLIC. Despite the marketing images with helmets and all, if you are looking for a general pupose set of wearable (and they are usable as goggles) Night Vision Device(s) (NVD), than these will work for you. These are perfect for the 'cryptid' researcher types who need something in the woods that work, and that will not break the bank. I've used PVS-14's in the military and currently live in the mountains, the NightFox Pros are not military grade, but they are perfect for a person with a reasonable income, that simply wants to have access to functional night vision just in case. I've tested them in the forest here, and they do fine. The ability to set the IR's level is good for folks that simply want to either save power, or avoid folks who are also using NVDs. Like the other reviewer's stated, these do have some firm ware issues, hopefully NighFox can resolve those as well.
