I have several sets of nvg in this price range and one that was well over 1k. I now feel strongly that I should have saved that money and bought two of these. It blows the similarly priced ones out of the water I mean no comparison (they are on my review list here on Amazon) They are so much lighter than previous versions I own and the picture quality is on par with my expensive military pair. The best part is these come with a head mount that’s comfortable enough to wear all night. It also comes with an attachment to use on a helmet. It fits my military helmets mount (dovetail) the ir has 5 settings and out to about 100 yards 1 will let you see anything which saves the battery life. It’s powered by a 18650 battery which is perfect for me since I have many from different flashlights. I can carry several spares without adding much weight. You can charge the battery without removing it by connecting the cord to the googles. They don’t include a bay charger but I have many from my lights so no big deal plus you don’t need them to charge. They do provide a charging cord and it’s a very common one so can be easily replaced. I would also recommend getting the pro version is you order. These are really nice night vision goggles! They're light and comfortable to wear as is or you can mount them to a helmet. It is a wide field of vision and really clear. The video quality is great too. It charges fairly quickly and the battery lasts a while.

The product's IR night vision is good and works well at night. It even has a wide enough field of view to walk around in. The firmware freezes on every use though, the menu stays on the screen and all the buttons stop working. If you set the screen frame rate to 60, and turn the screen brightness down to 2, it's reproducible 100% of the time. It's close to being a great product, but I can't reset the device in total darkness every time I need the menu. ... show more
