Features

  • Stay Aware - Our NV infrared goggles have a 1x magnification and an industry-leading 54 wide angle field of view, great for a night vision helmet. Observe your immediate surroundings during security and tactical operations, and while camping or hiking. There's also a 3x digital zoom feature for using the Swift 2 as a binocular.
  • Stay Handsfree - Use our night vision goggles head mounted with the included head strap, or helmet mounted with the included Dovetail helmet mount adaptor. This makes the Swift 2 compatible with mounting systems like the Wilcox G24.
  • Stay Covert - The Swift 2 NOD infrared goggles have both 850nm and 940nm IR LEDs. Use 940nm to go undetected in the darkness, with virtually no red glow from the IR LED and a 300ft range. Use 850nm to see further, up to 430ft.
  • Stay Comfortable - The Swift 2 has a soft, wraparound rubber eyepiece which not only keeps you comfortable, but minimizes light from the LCD screen escaping. These are digital night vision goggles for adults, but can be used by a minor as well.
  • Stay Charged - The powerful 3200mAh battery gives 5 hours of constant use. Recharge at home using a cellphone charger or on the move with a power bank.
  • Stay Supported - If you ever need help with your Swift 2, the friendly Nightfox customer support team is here for you. We always welcome your suggestions on how to make the next version even better - be part of the Nightfox community!
  • Whats Included - Nightfox Swift 2 Digital Night Vision Goggles, 3200mAh Battery, Adjustable Head Strap, Mounting Pieces, Dovetail Adaptor, Carry Case, Instruction Manual, Gift Box.

  • Simple but great NVG
Style: Swift
Let’s start off by getting this over with first. These ARE night vision goggles and no they are NOT high end. Okay, with that over with let’s break this down. Some people don’t realize that there are many different types of NVG’s out there. Unlike the classic image intensifier style these are digital night vision. The difference? Vacuum tubes are swapped for a low Lux camera. This makes it cheaper and easier to produce. Please understand that if you want the “classic” goggles expect to pay in the thousands vs the $200 I snagged these for. A few things on function, these are great for the price point. Only thing I wish was improved on would be a wider angle for the lenses. View is very limited with these and makes it slightly difficult to move in close quarters. Nevertheless these are still very comfortable to wear and work very well. No you are not going to see great detail at extreme distance but are still a great device. Also note that with this price point the two IR lights are slightly in the visible spectrum. So in operation you will see two glowing red eyes piercing the dark abyss. This may be a deal breaker for some, but I’m okay with striking fear into the hearts of my enemies as a shadowy demon emerges from the dark. In all I am extremely happy with this buy, and despite some minor flaws these will be a great addition to my airsoft gear, and great for general entertainment on a long work night. ... show more

  • A fantastic and affordable entry into the night vision world
Style: Swift 2
I purchased this after wanting to get into night vision solutions. After combing through the reviews and recommendations of the comments on Amazon as well as YouTube channels I decided to try this product out. My main goal was to use these goggles to be able to walk to and from Deer stands or blinds in early morning or evening so I don't give myself away using flashlights. The limited field of view takes some getting used to as well as the refresh rate of the sensor but it is entirely doable to move around in the dark while walking at a brisk pace. I will say after trying it out this is NOT something you'd want to use moving through woods. I constantly found myself running into hanging vines or stumbling on uneven ground. If you have to move through woods, take it slow and use trees for bracers and absolutely turn on the infrared lights so you can cast shadows and get a decent depth of field. Moving on open terrain that is flat is ideal and easy to do and even using the Lunarlight mode (no IR light given off) allows one to traverse well without using lights. Another plus was when I received my unit it had a fully charged battery and between me using it as a tester in and around my house as well as a walk back in the dark after some still deer hunting in an evening hunt the battery is still full or at least it shows full on the HUD icon. I can not wait to use this device even further but for now I am loving it! 5/5 for entry level night vision! ... show more

  • Usable, good value
Style: Swift 2
The media could not be loaded. Actually usable! Video is without using the built in infrared illumination too. My eyes could see a lot more in the dark than my phone's camera could, it wasn't that pitch black but I am impressed with these. You could actually use them to navigate although, the depth perception is gonna take some training to get used to but this is much better than the NV10's, that's for sure! ... show more

  • Shockingly good! But buy the helmet mount!
Style: Swift
I’ve used the PVS14 before, which retails for about $2500 new. While this product is definitely not that, it is shockingly good night vision for less than 1/10th the price. Getting into NVGs is extremely expensive. After a ballistic helmet, ear pro, lights and a good pair of binos, you’re looking at close to the cost of a new vehicle. While I intend to get the real deal in the future I wanted something to practice on until then. The brightness, field of view, battery life, recording options and multiple IR settings make this a great practice tool. It will pick up an IR laser or even a red dot off your rifle, and it’s super easy to use. It may not look as cool as the binos but it definitely works and works well. If you’re attaching this to a helmet, I would definitely buy the Wilcox quick release mount and the adapter for these from the nightfox website. They don’t seem to have it on Amazon. ... show more

  • So I used this for Airsoft. Here's what happened..
Style: Swift
So firstly the night vision works great! You get 7 levels of brightness and a wheel under it to help focus on targets. The battery life is okay too! The head strap is rough. The weight of the goggles hurts my forehead. Okay now how it operated with airsoft games. To put it shortly. Dont. 1) The red IR lights arent suddle. You'll be spotted 100s of feet away even at the lowest setting. 2) its zoomed in already so moving around is next to impossible. You'll trip and fall over everything. 3) Using it with a rifle isnt ideal. Once you hold up the rifle and the goggles catch view, it blinds you badly. Even using a pistol its challenging to stay on target. You may get one shot off before you get vaporized. Overall it's actually a decent pair of goggles if you're stationary. Doing recon on a radio far far away. But in the field itself I dont reccomend. You'll be seen before you see anyone. ... show more
