Got this for my trips to Texas. My parens live on a 10 acre plot of land with many visitors that include and not limited to bob cats, coyotes, owls, deer, and foxes. It’s easy to spot daytime visitors, but there are a different set of visitors at night. Although I did not spot any on my short 3 night stay, I did get to see how these night googles worked. These were great that they can be charged or used with batteries. They are like looking at a screen and the image is bright. Because it’s night vision, it isn’t as crisp and clear as binoculars. It’s just different. They’re relatively lightweight, but can be placed on a camera stand as you wait and hang out. I love that you can also take photos with this and capture your finds. My Dad was quite impressed and excited to use these. Hopefully we will be able to capture an image soon. ... show more

ok i use these for hunting and scouting wildlife for photo shoots. the image is good not great. these are ok and good for someone who doesn't need great night photos but once a year going scouting or just watching wildlife for fun

    • Great for some novelty night vision
I have always wanted a pair of night vision goggles. This was close enough to live the dream. What I liked: - Comes with a 32GB micro SD card - Comes with polyester storage bag and binocular straps - Takes photos and videos - decent quality viewing screen - You can use 4 AA batteries for just the night vision or 8 AA batteries for recording - You can adjust the infrared boost [1) No infrared, 2) +1 Infrared, 3) +2 Infrared, 4) +1 Infrared] What I would change: - The rubber seal around the viewing screen doesn't really sit flush with my face. Keeping in mind that there are many face shapes, this doesn't really seal around my flatter-than-most face. Other things to consider: - I tried to see if I can actually get the 300M range with IR. I am in a suburban area and there is still too much ambient light to test this out. I can pick up imaging pretty clearly from over 300M without IR. When there are objects too close to you, the IR boost will give you a washed out image. ... show more
