This is my third night vision unit. Overall for the money I highly recommended for anything a person wants to do regarding the dark of night. I use it for hunting, Fishing, surveillance of my property and the list goes on and on. I have only one negative statement I would like to share with everyone about the unit itself and that is installing the batteries. It is very cumbersome and really take some doing to install the batteries but also you've got to do it very gently because inside where the batteries are installed it's very fragile and it's very easy to break one of the connections if you're not careful. The only regret I have is not getting one with a rechargeable battery pack already installed in the unit that did not have to be removed because I can see already because of the delicateness of the battery compartment that repeated installation will eventually cause the contacts to fail. ... show more

I got these night vision goggles for my husband and he loves them. He showed them to me and they are pretty amazing. I can see down the street several hundred yards in the middle of the night.
