Even their own ad doesn't mention (or I missed it) that the buttons light up. Sounds minor but outside in the dark it's reason enough alone to pick these over cheaper options. I bought this one and a cheaper $49 unit. Main differences are the zoom, the lit buttons, and the screen size. Apparently a lot of these give you the size of the clear window you're looking through, which may indeed be 4" diagonal. On the cheaper unit, the actual LED screen inside is MUCH smaller, maybe 3". I think this unit has the most amount of features for the best price. I thought their shape looked a bit weird at first, but in holding them they feel more natural. I find them more ergonomic and the button layout is more intuitive. Still trying to decide if that's worth twice the price to me.

These day and night vision binoculars are awesome! Easy to use and clear vision day and night. I have been wanting night vision for many years and I’m glad I waited for these to come out because the price on night vision has come down and these are better than the night vision was a few years ago. They came in 2 days with my Prime shipping and I enjoy them very much.

These are cool night vision goggles that work well for what they are. These are not high end military quality goggles. They ARE have fun camping with the kids goggles. You can even use these to walk trails at night without a flashlight. If you are trying to zoom in on something, you may want t use a tripod. These definitely work better wide angle then trying to zoom in. Zooming ads lag and motion blur when hand held.

This is a very cool binoculars/camera/night vision device. The instructions are decent but they are lengthily because the thing has so many functions and settings. I had a moose out back a week ago and by the time I figured out how to zoom in and get the cam going it was too late. So many buttons, so little time.I think that's on me because of lack of tech savvy and ability to recall all those instructions in a hurry. So if you're an old boomer like me then you might want to find something more simplified. If you're comfortable with tech stuff then I think you may be able to navigate the interface much more easily. It's a bit on the heavy side so I wouldn't recommend wearing it around your neck for extended periods of time. The camo skin is very well done and the texturing of the unit and it's buttons are very nice. The build quality is very good overall and it's ready for action right out of the box. I really wish it had come with lens caps or a case. I found a padded case for it but I think it should have come with one due to its weight. The little one's love it and it's a perfect thing to keep them occupied at the cabin or camping.

Initially I wasn't very impressed with these because I simply hadn't noticed the focus dial hidden under the bottom somehow. Used it a half dozen times and found I could only see things about 15-20 feet away exactly and was like "these are worthless!", but it turns out it was entirely user error. Turns out its focus range is pretty wide, though I couldn't tell you the maximum just for lack of enough of a straight line of sight in my immediate area to find out. Anyway, the device is super neat, hefty and feels fairly premium with a nice textured surface and good quality buttons, which light up, which is super amazing in the dark. Its view finder has some sort of mirror set up that creates this optical illusion that the screen is super deep in it, like the whole device is hollow or something, which means you can raise it to your face like real binoculars to look through it, I've used a cheaper similar set of night vision binos where the screen was just set in the back of the unit at the surface and it was kind of hard to see in the dark for how bright it was. Looking through it with the night vision mode on and the IR light enabled is kind of like looking at black and white footage of daylight, the maximum brightness bulb illuminated everything I could see to a couple hundred feet like there was a huge spotlight on it, it's legitimately impressive. Image clarity is largely really good, the video and photo quality is pretty decent but not as good as I'd hoped. Overall I'm impressed by these, they aren't like milspec or something, and calling them binoculars is a little off since one of the front 'eyes' is the camera and the other is the IR light, but that's just being pedantic. They work really well for trying to figure out what critter is getting into your trash though, that's for sure.

These Night Vision goggles are not going to compare to professional, tactical goggles, but they are great for what they are and how much they cost. Basically they are an infrared camera tied to a small screen. The system works well to see broad landscapes. Not the best when it comes to zooming in on small creatures from far away.
