In order to be fair in a review for this item you have to take into account the price. You can easily spend thousands of dollars on high end night vision optics and only then will you get the absolute best performance...that's professional level, military grade stuff....this is not that and should not be judged by those standards....this is an ENTRY LEVEL product and an entry level price and should be judged by entry level standards.For this price, I think these are very acceptable and function well.....in short.....they work! You CAN see things at night, with decent clarity and at a reasonable distance. Can you read a newspaper at 100 yards? Of course not, but for an entry level night vision optic I really have no complaints for this price. I feel that it is a very good value and will get you in the night vision game to play around with it and decide if spending a LOT more is worth it to you for your needs and desires. They look and fell well made will provide decent and usable resolution and magnification that will be adequate for most people's non-professional needs. I think this product is a great place to start and will serve you well....and you won't have to re-mortgage your house to purchase them! ... show more

Easy to use, this night vision device is great. I go out at night to locate all the different animals so I can come back in day light hours and shoot animals and birds in the wild. I'll be honest, I bought these on a lark. I found these were the cheapest ones that didn't have suspicious or bad reviews. But you know what, they're a lot better than I expected,These night vision binoculars strike a balance between affordability and quality, making them a worthwhile investment. By day, they exhibit commendable performance, with the focus ring enabling excellent clarity even at considerable distances. While the instructions mention optical and electronic zoom options, I haven't delved into those yet due to their non-intuitive nature. It is exactly as described. They work very well and I am surprised at the distance I can see using them. The battery seems to last quite a while and I am happy with the overall performance at this price range. Clear picture, and a good range for sight. I like that you can use it as normal binoculars or you can put it on night mode.Admittedly, it took a bit to understand how to use these successfully.
