There isn't much I can say negatively about these binoculars. For the price you absolutely get your money's worth. But I should be mentioned that they don't work like the conventional set of binoculars do where the image you see is what is seen through mirrors and lenses. These use a camera that is shown out of one of the optics while the other acts as the IR "cannon", and the image is digitally displayed on it's internal monitor. You can either hold them up to your face and view or hold them any distance away from your face and still see the monitor easily. The night vision on these is powerful! It illuminates by flooding the area with it's IR cannon and picking it up on black and white. The IR cannon is so powerful that most uses will illuminate just fine under the 3rd or 4th level of lighting and the IR sensitivity set on low. The IR reaches insane distances! 1000 feet or 300 plus yards is easily attained, and nothing that isn't obstructed within that range will absolutely be lit up. This is older technology night vision, however, and generally not very stealthy considering anyone looking through a night vision camera will see you holding what looks like the world's most powerful Q beam. Security cameras are also exposed at night when looking through these. If you were hiding in the dark with these and someone looks Dea at you with just there eyes they would likely notice the dim red glow that the camera emits unless they were about 20 yards or so away. These are still great binoculars though. Nothing about it at all feels cheap. Nice packaging and quality build. The monitor isn't too small and the picture is clear, especially when using the night vision. If all you are wanting to achieve is ultimate night vision without needing a single ray of natural lighting these will satisfy you. If you are needing night vision to be able to travel and be able to see where you are going in the dark you'll want to find something different that is focused more on what's directly in front of you. The minimum useful viewing distance these focus in at is around 6 feet or so directly away from you. Anything closer is out of focus. This is a good buy any day of the week, and I've already have two other people getting this same pair now. ALSO, the manual states to use only alkaline, non rechargeable AA batteries. This is a voltage issue and not battery tech. Most rechargeable AA batteries are 1.2v, which is .2v less than alkaline disposables. If you use 1.5v rechargeable batteries the binoculars not only work just fine, but they last many hours longer than disposable AAs since they are usually equipped to store more energy. Certainly worth their weight in the long run. Amazon has plenty of options, but I have been using a certain orange and black colored brand for a while now that are excellent. Won't say another brand's name though under this review.

I bought a night vision device for my husband as a birthday present. This is an excellent NV device if you don't want to spend a few thousand dollars for premium version. Honestly, i bought these for family hunting, to give me something to see in the night, and these are perfect for the price, i uploaded two photos of wild owl that live in my neighborhood, the range to owl is at least 300 to 500 ft away, as you can see, can actually see a head and neck of one or two of the owls, pretty good detail, but still i wished the focus could have been alittle bit sharper, however, i have no doubt these will do the job, so if your look for a good NVD on a budget, look no further than these NV binoculars from Dsoon Of course, because of the cost-effective price, you need to have some patience to adjust the focus to keep the screen clear. I have seen many comments that the image quality is not clear, but you have not adjusted it well, and you need to adjust it slowly according to the distance and environment. Even so, this is a very cost-effective product and highly recommended! !

I purchased these Night vision glasses to view the wildlife in my field at night, from zero to about 100 yards they work great, the picture quality is good and the view screen is bright, my deer feeder is about 230 yards from my porch and at that distance the picture is grainy and hard to focus, at full zoom the image quality is poor at best, not recommended for long range viewing in my opinion

I bought this to see past the light of a fire while camping. I wanted the ability to see into the woods surrounding my tent when I would hear wildlife walking around. And it does just that. Night vision is in black and white and the picture does get grainy, if you get over zealous with the zoom. Not bad grainy mind you. Think watching a movie on VHS grainy. The ability to take pictures and video while not a game changer, is a plus. Now when some raccoons hit my trash I can film the little buggers. For the price point. I'm happy with this purchase. Now if you need something "military grade," you can spend upwards of 10 times the price and get "military grade." But for the average Joe day hiker or camping trip. In my opinion, This does just fine.

True night vision converts infared to visible wavelengths. These do not do that, they just amplify existing light, which is pretty useless in a dark environment. Wasted my money.

First off, this review is based off what the description of the product says, not what my expectations were of it. As far as clarity goes, it does a good job. It does get pixelated when you zoom way out (but then again so does every NV and thermal), so that was expected. The screen is big and has a good wide angle to it. If you are a night hunter, and you are on a budget, I would recommend this for short to mid-range fields. If you are hunting long 400+yards fields, I wouldn’t think this would be for you. Maybe with a different IR light, but the stock one will not reach that far. The buttons are big and easy to control. The binoculars are a tad bulky, and if you plan on pulling an all-nighter, I would suggest a shoulder harness for these instead if the neck strap. I tried loading some pics and vids on here from it, but every time I do my review gets denied so sorry can’t attach any of those. So in general, for the price, and for what the product is described as, it gets 5 stars.
