I am really really Impressed with this cabinet bed. Very hesitant to order it due to the price, and also due to my past experience ordering furniture on line and having to put it together. It arrived in less than a week. I was not expecting it so thank goodness we were home. Two boxes. One for Mattress that was vacuum sealed and thus fit in a smaller box. And the other was the actual bed. Very sturdy wood here. Not pressboard or anything. The majority of it was already assembled, so I would say about 10 pieces in all. The hardware included to put it together was of great quality. I have put online furniture together in the past and the hardware was cheap, missing or did not work with the pre drilled holes. Not here. Everything worked perfectly. We did use some wood glue where there were wood dowels used to help hold things together. We also used a cordless drill that saved time. Took two people about 1.5 hours to unpack and assemble. Went together well without having divorce court. There is a nice space to keep bed linens/pillows when it is closed up. easy to open and close and one person can do it. Hubby and I laid out on it when finished and we were amazed how comfortable the mattress was and how sturdy it was with two average sized people on it. We even tossed and turned a bit to test creaking and strength and it did not move or creak at all. Highly recommend this cabinet bed and the manufacturer (Night and Day furniture) did a great job with quality, materials, and instructions (including assembly videos if you wanted to watch them). I tried to contact the seller to determine delivery day but I got no response. Well done Night and Day Furniture!

I bought this for when my parents were coming to visit. They are picky when it comes to beds, and this passed the test. They said it was very comfortable (I did put a foam topper underneath the mattress on top of the slats just to add some added insurance they wouldn't feel the bed frame). It was relatively easy to assemble with both my husband and I. Looks really nice and saves a ton of space in my office. Easy to pull out and put back by myself. Expensive, but worth it

First the good: - Really cool concept - Looks good - I got the gray one which is gray with the slightest brown tint. - Fit and finish is pretty good - The mattress that comes with it is decent - nice and soft Next, unfortunately, the not as good. When reading the following comments please keep in mind that nothing has broken on mine (although it hasn't been slept on by two adults yet) and I don't have any proof for what I say. - I should have considered this more before purchasing, but I have some serious doubts that this thing will hold 2 regular 'modern' adults without starting to seriously bow in the center (making a very uncomfortable bed for 2 people) or even cracking. Keep in mind that a bed is often sat on at an edge or at the foot of the bed. That is a point load and the bed has to be able to handle. Since returning this is out of the question I am using metal L brackets to beef it up and will be building wooden center supports to make this thing stronger. Those supports will just have to be stored in my garage when not using in bed form. - The mattress while comfortable may be a little too thin again for 'modern' adults. I will be bolstering with another mattress underneath to provide additional thickness. I'm not giving this a bad rating because it is nicely built, looks good, and may work fine if you will be using for kids or pretty light adults. But if your guests are like most adults today then you might think a little harder if this will work for you. Personally, I kind of wish I hadn't purchased.

I have a small house and really wanted a Murphy bed, but my guest area is in a finished basement with low ceilings. I decided to take a gamble with this Murphy cabinet bed, which was thousands of dollars less expensive than the other cabinet beds I had seen. Five years later and I remain absolutely thrilled with this purchase. Once assembled, it is so easy to set the bed up and then return it to cabinet form. I'm a fairly small person and it takes me only a few minutes to make up the bed (including putting sheets on it). It's also a very comfortable bed! My spouse and I wound up using it nightly for four months when our upstairs was being renovated and our backs did not complain at all. Our guests have loved it, too. It also looks quite nice when in cabinet form. No one realizes it's a bed!

Liked that it was solid wood with sturdy bolts and screws. Ingeniously designed to look like a cabinet and becomes a queen size bed in a few simple steps. Also was impressed with the way it was packed for shipping. Everything arrived intact and in great shape. Took my time and had it put together and in place in 2 hours. Love the product! Solid piece of furniture made of wood not mdf. Pricey but so are the mdf products I looked at. Perfect solution for my space and so it is worth to me what I paid. Highly recommend over a Murphy bed for those of us with low ceilings! Looks like a cherry cabinet!

The vendor’s customer service was amazing from confirmation of the order, delivery and help with assembly questions. Assembly necessitates 2 people. The piece looks very nice in a small room. Bed is easy to set up and the mattress gave me a comfortable night’s sleep. Great product!!!!

The item comes in two boxes on a pallet. It is heavy. However, it was well-packaged, and the delivery team did a phenomenal job of ensuring its safety. When I unboxed it, all the items were intact and in great shape. Assembly was fairly straightforward. My guest found the mattress comfortable and overall the bed was sturdy.
