I use a lot of epoxy. The Nicpro worked great. It was the consistency of cold pancake syrup, self leveling, long pot time, will flow for a good 20 minutes or so. After 18 hours I could press my fingernail into my 1/4" pour, and after 48 hours it is too hard to leave a mark. Crystal clear, and if you can heat your pot with a hair dryer as you stir for 4 full minutes, it helps eliminate bubbles. Contains no water so there is no shrinkage and almost no odor. Other reviews mentioned problems, but if epoxy is not mixed precisely, or if there is any trace water or if it's too cold, any brand will have problems. Love, ❤️, Love NicPro epoxy resin! I was using amazing clear cast, Not anymore! That stuff turns yellow after time...This stuff is easy to mix, I was just using a popsicle stick which is a NONO but only stirred about 1 minute and got the hard gold coin with minimal bubbles. Can't wait to use the sticks it comes with. This set is 1/2 gal A 1/2 gal B. It also was packaged in a nice box, the epoxy is like plastic wrapped and tight! Plus the lids dont stick after using, easy to open with my arthritic hands...A bag of gloves the ones I don't like tho, 2 yellow scrapers, a short silicone stick and a long one I love it!!! Instead of the gloves maybe put in another stick :).... love this stuff and the price... nice job NicPro... 👏 👍 ... show more

Update: The company reached back out to me and refunded the portion of my order that was unusable. I'm very happy with the resolution after the second interaction. This package is a great value, so I was really happy not to shift to another brand! I've been using Nicpro for my resin business for years. We go through A LOT of it, which is why I subscribed to the 4 gallon version. I ended up with 3 bottles of resin and one bottle of hardener in my last order. This leaves me with half of what I paid for and 2 bottles of resin that are unusable. I reached out to the company and was pretty much told to kick rocks after a long explanation of why they would never send or sell a bottle of hardener only. I get the reasons but was surprised, to say the least, that they charged me for the 4-gallon kit and I can only use 2-gallons. I'm done with Nicpro. There are several better resins out there and, after this experience, I won't risk the tiny savings for a company that would take my money and leave me high and dry. ... show more

I think this would be great for beginners and more experienced alike So! I was skeptical about trying this but have been on a try new epoxy kick and I was pleasantly surprised by this resin. It was packaged okay. I did have 1 broken cup. Which to me isn't a deal breaker because things happen right? I have SO many cups already anyways. It's a thin viscosity, which has its pros and cons, but I like working with thinner resins due to issues with my hands. Stirring it is easy, but I have noticed that toward the end of the stir many bubbles become incorporated. If you let it sit like you normally would after mixing, the bubbles quickly dissipate. It's all a very easy process to use in general and then to top it off it had that pretty quick cure. I would say this is definitely comparable to Puduo in many ways BUT at a cheaper cost and you get the sticks, cups, stir tools, gloves and a couple table cloths. There have been a lot of resin shortages recently and it's not always bad to try something new. I generally keep a couple different brands of resin on hand, and this will be one I keep at all times. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE the option of a 2 gallon kit!!! ... show more

Best resin I've ever used. Clarity is exctional. Love that you can visibly see when the resin A ad B has been totally mixed together. I haven't had a piece that has failed to cure totaly and love the high gloss finsh. Has a lot less bubbles than other resins I've tried. Product is consistent. I've purchased this 2 gallon set 4 times so far and haven't had a problem with it. Will keep on buying this brand. ... show more
