I love this pebble ice maker! I’ve recently been really addicted to good crunchy pebble ice and this machine satisfies all craving! It works fairly quickly with minimal noise to make little pebble/pellet ice. Though keep in mind it can be a little noisy. Like a low pitched grinding noise but it doesn’t bother us. I can hear it from the top of the stairs at night but I don’t notice it otherwise during the day. It fills up fast enough for our needs. My husband and I fill our 2 40oz water bottles and use the rest of the ice throughout the day. The ice has the perfect soft crunch. Initially I was worried about how to store the ice once made but the machine does a great job of keeping it cold enough! I no longer use the ice bin I bought for my freezer. The machine will automatically run again when ice levels get too low. We purchase purified water gallons to fill it with. About half a gallon fills it to the max line and that lasts us usually 2 days before refilling. So far very easy to clean. I just run the clean cycle then empty it into a mixing bowl from the spout underneath. I would drain directly into the sink but it’s on the other side of my kitchen and kinda heavy to lift/unplug. It is kinda hard to keep the front clean. Theres always fingerprints on it no matter how much I wipe them off. It does come with a scoop but I bought a magnetic one that I keep on the front of the machine. I prefer for the scoop not to sit in the ice bucket in the machine. ... show more

I've only had this for 1 month, but so far this ice machine has been great. It's a great size so it doesn't take up that much countertop space. I use ice with almost all my drinks and the amount of ice this machine makes within a few hours is great. It doesn't make that much noise that it's noticeable either. Using it is really simple. Cleaning is really easy as well. In general, these sorts of machines can get very dirty over time and difficult to clean due to hard to reach areas. But this machine is very straightforward and so far the main areas have easy to reach spaces to clean. Draining it is also easy and because it's compact you can put it beside your sink and drain out the water inside with the hole at the bottom. Worked fine at first, but now it leaks and doesn’t make ice, maybe a few cups per day. It’s noisy and takes forever to make ice after you fill it with water. I have owned many nugget ice machines and this one is a very good option for smaller volume and spaces. Not sure how the auto start works after you remove ice? The drain plug is an easy way to drain the unit. It would be nice if you could attach an additional water tank.

October 2025: This purchase was caused by the purchase of a new refrigerator. The new frig does not have an ice maker, making it much more reliable than the regular products. I use distilled water in this machine to reduce gunk buildup as well as supporting the process of regular cleaning. Once I start the cleaning, per instructions, I let the unit dry upside down before I park it back in the pantry with its cover that I purchased. Time will tell if my efforts impact the durability and cleanliness. I do like the ice that it produces. I just keep the products in a two gallon zip lock in the freezer. ... show more

I always worry about writing reviews for appliances while they are still new, but if anything changes, this review will be updated asap. I hope I’m not jinxing it! This is my FAVORITE ice maker! It makes chewable, pebble ice, BUT, unlike my previous ones, the ice is a little thicker so it lasts longer, but it’s still super crunchy & enjoyable to chew! It makes thicker ice faster than my other machine makes a batch of its version that melts instantly in room temp water. This machine makes ice that does NOT melt Instantly even in room temp water. Maybe I should create a video to show what I mean. I put 10 little pebbles from this machine in my left hand & 10 from the other in my right hand & guess which hand still had pebbles after 10 seconds - the left hand! They took longer to melt. Be careful, if you overfill the water (if you can feel the water with the ice basket inside) you’re just wasting electricity & making the water in the machine SUPER cold. So scoop out the water to put back when the level goes down. This machine is quiet & so easy to use. My husband overfilled it because he filled it……in super low lighting, hahahahaha. I also did it once. It holds a good amount of water & the ice basket is twice the size & so much sturdier than any others. Two cycles & the box I put my ice in inside the freezer is full. Tomorrow is cleaning day & I have no concern, it’s self cleaning so I won’t do much work other than filling & emptying it. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I bought it back in October 2024 and it worked fine up until earlier this week. I havent had it a year yet and its not working properly. The plastic piece that lifts up ice into the holder, isnt pushing all the way forward. Its as if something is blocking it from moving forward and it’s not making any ice.
