This seems like a dangerous product. Since you have to twist the barrel to turn the iron on or off, once you have used it, you have to grip the hot barrel to shut the iron off. Also, the actual length of the iron parts that heat is very short - maybe 4 inches total - so it takes a long time to do hair piece by piece. I bought this and took it on a trip and was so unhappy with it, I left it in the hotel room and didn't bother bringing it home since I knew I'd never use it again.

I have straight hair and use this to style it and love it. I like the temp, the lock feature for the handle as well. It's well made. I never feel the heat of the iron as if to burn myself. It's just what I wanted.

Exactly as pictured long cord which i like due to long hair down to my butt I would advise blow drying first to get more volume and also less frizz with added hair oil and heat protector I will say I own a regular straightener and I'm in looooive with this i counted to 19 and it was hot hot and i actual have girly hair now the curling ability was a 10 and not to mention not i get to save time and frustration just use and go
