I typically use a Croc brand 1.5” flat iron which costs around $180 but absolutely works so well on my hair! Well my Croc has not been heating up all the way. It’s also a few years old. Didn’t want to dish out another $180. I purchased this one because my stepdaughter got this brand for Christmas and I used it once and it worked so well! Actually even more comfortable to hold than my Croc and I didn’t have to worry about accidentally turning it off or the temp down while using it because the end twists to set the temp. I used my new one today for the first time. I have extremely thick curly hair so I need a flat iron that will straighten it. It took me about 15 minutes total which is not long! Typically takes me about 25 minutes. Definitely will purchase this from now on.

I purchased this in December. It is now March and it will not heat. No lights, nothing! It’s as if it’s not plugged in but it is. I used is about 2-4 times a week on a medium high setting. Very disappointed. Will try to contact manufacturer to discuss basic warranty.

I was spoiled with an amazing straightener ages ago that I had for over a decade. It finally burnt out & I have searched for over 3 yrs now trying to find a hot tool that could live up to what I had with no luck, until yesterday when this arrived!!! I have very thick & corse curly hair & most tools just smoosh my hair down tangling it together & making it frizz. This tool gives it length & softens it! And in no time! Legit FOUR minutes is what I waited for it to heat up before it was hot to trot & the very 1st swipe down my hair with it & it looked like a gorgeous extension mixed in with my Janis Joplin hair. I haven’t cared about my hair in years because I thought why bother after trying so many things that didn’t work. I am so happy I took the chance on this cuz I love it!!

I didn’t want to spend a ton on a straightener because I don’t fix my hair often, so this seemed like a good choice. So far I love it. Straightens really well and glides over my hair with ease. My hair doesn’t get stuck in the creases or yank out like some straighteners. I can also curl my hair with it much easier than a curling iron (I can never figure out how to do my own hair with a curling iron) so that’s a bonus.
