I have tried several ground lights around my bushes and these are the best. I have tried the ones that have a plastic criss-cross spike. Those spikes were so flimsy that they broke right and left. Not to mention the intensity of those lights was low. I decided to try these and I have been very happy with their performance. They go easily into the ground. The spike is durable. The lights themselves are durable and long lasting. The light that is produced is bright and clear. So happy I purchased these and they add a special touch to my yard. I get lots of compliments.

Out of the box these looks like very nice solar ground lights. The top with the LEDs and solar panel looks great. A pleasant surprise was the snap-in plastic stake that holds the ground light in place so they are not accidently moved when placed in the grass (see photos). These work perfectly when used as a pathway décor light. They offer a nice subtle light to highlight the edge of the walkway. Be forewarned though, the marketing photos show a yellow light ring directed onto the grass around the light. This does not happen (see photo) as there are no lights aiming down towards the grass. When used as an uplight to light up a wall or pillar the lights can only illuminate the first three feet or so but after that the illimitation diminishes very quickly. While the attached photo makes it look like the brick pillar in front of my house is well lit, in reality the brightness is not that great and you can only barely see it from the street. That may be the effect you want, but I was hoping for a brighter light. (The manufacturer’s marketing photos also show a light beam on the wall that is much brighter than I was able to achieve). It's late Winter now and we are getting about 12 hours between sunrise and sunset. After a sunny day when the batteries have a chance to fully charge the lights do stay on from sunrise to sunset. We just had a snowstorm and the lights were covered with snow for a few days. Unfortunately, one of the lights ended up upside down and after the snow melted, I noticed water inside the top cover plate (see photo). There was also condensation inside the glass cover. The lights are listed as IP65, water resistant, and therefore they are not water proof and should not be submerged in water. Fortunately, the light still works and hopefully the water will seep back out and not cause any shorts or corrosion inside the light body. The instructions state that battery replacement is not recommended. That is unfortunate because batteries do lose their ability to hold a charge over time and the number of charge cycles.

These are cute, round lights that you attach small spikes to the back and plant them in the ground. They are bright, last several hours on a charge, and add some style as well as light to your landscaping. The only problem I ran into was that the back plastic where the spike attaches is soft and in pushing the light into the ground, I broke two of the lights because the plastic case around the spike cracked. I took a star off for this, but the lights still function and so far seem to hold up to the elements ok, although with cracks in the case, they may not stay water resistant for long.

The NFESOLAR 8-pack outdoor solar ground lights are an excellent value and work well for pathway lighting or driveway edge lighting. They are also perfect for various landscape lighting scenarios, just be aware that plant growth can block the solar panels and prevent them from charging appropriately since they are flush with ground level. They are waterproof and come with a snap on ground stake to secure them to the ground. Light output is somewhat subdued, they are not super bright, but work pretty well and seem to last through the whole night in testing, so far. They are also easily moved and can be used on porch stairs or other areas where lighting is needed. Very pleased with these and recommend them.
