Purchased the gate for my 6 month old kitten after her spaying to prevent her from being overly active during the healing process. Her and her brother do not like being separated to different rooms (tried it with her brother after his neutering, it so stressful for everyone in the house and the bathroom he destroyed). It's heavy but not too bad (watch the fingers!), so I am hoping that means it is decent quality. The size is great for a full size litter box, with enough space for her to lay around and I did lay down in it to cuddle with her with room. The topper was difficult to put on but it was worth it because it was taut enough that her brother would walk and lay across it. It is double secure with hooks and thick velcro. The only down side(really not that bad, just a little weird) was the locking mechanism they use to keep the ends together, which did the job just fine but they used bolt snaps. The bolt snaps made it easy to put on and remove though. So all and all we are happy with the purchase and the price. Will be purchasing the bottom liner in the future out door adventures.

When I recieved this product for my puppy and she hasn’t been able to use the gate because it’s broken. And the pad under it is not waterproof ): really sad because it was somewhat expensive for it to work for less than a week

I have 2 Pomeranians, and I ordered this for down at our camper. It’s so easy to put together, store, and bring back and forth. The cover is great quality, and makes me feel more comfortable having my pups outside with me (I don’t have to worry about predator birds swooping in). I also don’t have to worry about weather, as it protects them from the sun and rain (flap opens so I can grab them out quick if need be). I even purchased two! It’s so convenient, definitely with the purchase!
