    • Powers 12v digital air pump
Have a digital air pump that is powered through the cars cigarette lighter, but I needed to use it in the house to air up bike tires. This little power supply gives just enough power for it to work. Has a super thick detachable ac power cable with ground. That was a pleasant surprise.

    • can't hold 12V@5A, is great under 5A, good for the money, buy elsewhere if you must have 12V@5A

Good bang for the buck. But, if your device is voltage sensitive and really needs 12v or just over and draws up to the max 5A, this is not for you! With a 5A draw the voltage sags down to 11.6V. If your current draw is only 2A or 3A it holds 12V just fine. In my use case, for LED grow light fixtures, this works out just fine and I planned for the sag on a cheap supply. My light unit draws just under 3A, so there is plenty of overhead. I suggest if you are looking at this power supply that you also plan for sagging voltage at max current and buy accordingly. ... show more
