  • Comfortable and sturdy! Ready for you to send it!! Comfortable and sturdy! Ready for you to send it!!
Edition: GT Lite Pro
This base is great! I just got an 8Nm Fanatec wheel base and it supports it very well! I travel a lot so I needed something portable. It’s easy to assemble and to move around the house. It’s comfortable and well built. Having multiple seating positions and heights is great and really helps you get dialed in and comfortable. I am running a shifter and a handbrake from Fanatec as well, the only issue I am running into is there is some flex in the shifter plate when pulling the handbrake. I had to drill some new holes to move it out just a bit to allow the wheel base to swing open. I think even in the original position there would still be flex in the shifter plate assembly. It would be nice to see some more reinforcement in that area. It’s been great so far!! ... show more

  • First time using a racing seat set up
Edition: GT Lite Pro
TLDR: A great seat all around for those that do not see themselves getting too serious with sim racing and using mostly entry level wheel and pedal set ups. Feels solid and easy to get in and out of. Edit: November 3, 2023, I glossed over the portion of the manual where it shows that you can move the wheelbase plate back for shorter individuals. I moved the base plate back and now it is even more comfortable for me racing with the seat incline set to the middle. I have also changed the angled pedal base to the flat base. It allows the back of my thighs to rest more naturally on the front of the seat for more comfort. I love the seat and no I still haven't tried folding it yet. Edit 2: November 10, 2023, my wife finally asked to move it from the living room to the loft. So, I folded it for the first time. If you follow the instructions, it is an easy task to do. If you try to do it on your own, you will end up just looking for the instruction booklet...yes that was me. I will say, when folded, it can fit in a hall closet if you need to put it away. It also has a good amount of weight to it folded with the wheelbase and pedals. It can also be awkward to lift by yourself, but it is possible if you know how the center of gravity will shift with the wheelbase and pedals attached to it. The wheels do make it easier to move from one place to another, as long as there is room to maneuver it. Original review: As one who just recently moved to a wheel and pedal combo set up for racing games (after two decades of using only a controller), I wasn't happy with my previous set up of a portable table and chair. My posture wasn't right for using the pedals and grasping of the wheel, regardless of what size chair I used. So, I went ahead and did some research on a cheaper alternative in terms of a dedicated sim racing seat. I first looked at the GTLite and was about to settle for that, when I saw the Pro version. The F1 version seemed to eat up too much floor space so I passed on that as well. I looked at tubular versions, but they were either too expensive or way too bulky and seem to not be "move it here and there" friendly. I went ahead and purchased this product instead. I read the reviews of the three versions NLR had to offer and the biggest knock on them was the movement of the wheelbase. Having only a G920, I figured the GTLite Pro will suffice, due to the included stabilizing straps. It took me about 20 minutes from start to finish setting it up (Including installing the wheel and the pedals). I have to say, I am pleasantly surprised with how stable the seat feels. I notice more the noise the wheel makes over the movement of it. This is a large seat, and I am now wondering if I should've just purchased the F1 version for the same price, but hey it is what it is. The seat can accommodate small, medium, and large individuals. I fall in the small category, being only 5'5". I will adjust the seatback from the first to second detent and both positions are good for me. The third detent..forget it for me, I can barely reach the wheel without the need to hold myself up using the wheel. Not a good idea to do, imo. I don't think putting a tensioning force on the wheel will result in a good outcome for the durability of the wheel. The adjustable pedal mounts will cover a variety of leg room (front to back and side to side), unless you are over 6'3"ish (???), then I think you might run into some lack of leg room issue. I used the angled assembly for the pedals and am comfortable with it. I haven't tried the flat option, yet. Not sure if I will, since I am already used to how it is. Switching it from angled to flat is fairly easy if I wanted to try it out. My son who is 5'9" and weighs around 190lbs fits comfortably in the seat, with room to spare and more. My wife...lol, now that is a sight to see! She is 5'2" and looks super tiny in it. The seat is very comfortable, and breathability is excellent. Put a fan behind you for forced ventilation, and you will be gaming for hours on end! I haven't tried the folding feature of it, since my wife doesn't mind this contraption in the middle of our living room. All in all, I think I made a good purchase with this one. ... show more

  • Bad quality assurance but good performance
Edition: GT Lite Pro
The product was insanely difficult to install due to several parts were bent upon arrival. The build process involved bending the pieces back together and assembly afterwards. Assembly went okay but several parts needed to be "persuaded" into their position. I recommend a rubber mallet for that part. Overall, it seemed like the Quality assurance was lacking which led to a significantly longer installation time. On to the materials. Overall, I have no major complaints here except for the quality of the hardware. It appears to be made of a very soft metal which deforms easily. Besides that, the actual chasis of the rig is solid and does what it needs to do. Straps definitely help out and make the cockpit flex less under load. Moving on to adjustability and foldability. I have no complaints here, in fact, I would say this cockpit excels in both of these categories. The pedal adjustment is great and easy to use, as is, the seat adjustment. I'm sure this can be comfortable to all players. For being a pretty big cockpit, it folds away great and doesn't take up too much space which makes this great for people with limited space. Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, the driving. Again in this category, I have no complaints. This feels great and while driving I honestly forgot about most of the struggle I had while installing. I have a basic Logitech G29 setup so my gear isn't too demanding of my rig. Everything felt great even for longer 5-10 hour sessions. It is very comfortable and handles heat dissipation very well for folk who sweat a lot while sitting. ... show more

  • Components Missing & Frame Bent - Unable to use
Edition: GT Lite Pro
I did weeks of research on racing setups in price points under $1k. I have 25 years in manufacturing, so materials and quality for value over the expected life of a product matter to me. I wanted to love this item. It had a larger than ideal envelope but the $100 reduced price point under its nearest competitor with smaller form factor was my final selling point. This was a gift for my 15 year old son’s birthday, a novice to racing wheels, and I expected this product to have a usage life of 2-3 years before upgrade. The exterior and interior boxes were in excellent condition. Interior components were packaged well and gave no obvious indication of previous opening. My son wanted to assemble it solo, and it took him 2 hours. I saw him going to my toolbox a few times and that was confusing as I expected hand tools to be included. He had some frustration aligning the seat to the bottom bracket, but it would have been easier with a second person. Upon my review, the bottom frame was bent and causing misalignment to the chair back. This was due to different heights of the upward angled female pipe fitting. The platform for shifter was completely missing, as was multiple straps and all hardware necessary to secure anything to the rig. These components were all listed in the provided inventory but unaccounted for. There were no hand tools and other screws and nuts to secure the rig were also absent. My son wasted 2 hours on a school night, unable to use his much-anticipated present that he had been waiting all summer for. I’ve attempted to locate a phone number to have this unit replaced but am faced with customer service emails and webpage support. I work 80 hours a week and am too busy doing my own job to be tracking down others via email to ensure they do theirs. Sadly, I will be returning this defective product to the manufacturer via Amazon due to poor quality and poor customer service experience. I’ll try the other item I was considering. ... show more

  • Great seat setup. Easily movable and collapsible.
Edition: GT Lite Pro
Love this thing! Have spent many hours in it! Went PRO edition and it was a better choice. Nice and versatile for many different wheel and pedal combos. Shifter attachment kinda sucks but it is manageable. All in all would highly recommend. Especially if you want to fold it up and store it! Not all of us are trust fund babies with huge game rooms and space to have a $5k+ stationary sim just set up all the time. Comfortable to sit in and the breathable fabric is nice. Tho it can be a pain to get in and out of unless you have the wiring and stuff set up right. All in all, still love it. Would buy it again. ... show more

Edition: GT Lite Pro
This is awesome for the price, foldable and supports some future proofing, I think this a great all rounder for just around $300 it is very comfy with nice fabrics and Alcantara around the seat giving it a premium feel and with my g923 and shifter,it holds up phenomenally well. 5 stars

  • Really comfortable, easy(ish) to assemble.
Edition: GT Lite Pro
It works amazingly well for what it is. It doesn't fit PXN(using PXN VD6) hardware though so I just used the front two holes to attach the base to the seat. Also, the instructions are almost useless and not written well at all. The top bar where the steering base gets attached confused the hell of me. I had to stare at the box to figure out what was wrong. The left and right sides of that bar attach differently. Just look at the box on that step and you should be able to figure it out. ... show more
