I had been wanting/needing a professional grade photography light/lighting kit for a few years now but found the idea of shopping for one daunting (so I kept putting it off). I was really concerned with finding something with the same level quality you'd find in "professional" grade photography equipment you can rent without blowing a gigantic hole in my wallet. Also, with something of great quality, I was concerned it would be complicated to put together (time consuming and too many delicate pieces like the light bulb) and too bulky to use. That's definitely not the case here. Very close to professional grade quality (if not spot on), easy to setup AND store away, comes with a very easy to use and responsive remote control that makes it easy to gently adjust brightness and warmth levels (no drastic jumps from one setting to the next), and in the cable itself comes with a on/off switch (just in case the kiddos get a hold of that remote control). The adjustable stand and neck piece are absolutely sturdy and provide an array of angles to adjust your lighting. I absolutely have no complaints here. The light is a light. Easily worth the money EXCEPT THE REMOTE DOES NOT WORK!!! Kinda hard to use the light with a BROKEN REMOTE

I been making lots of videos and needed some lighting for the green screen. This Softbox is just what I needed. IT comes in packaged with everything you need including the carrying bag and also the light bulb and remote control. The remote control works great! Especially if you are in need of a quick change of lighting. You can adjust the brightness along with the color temperature as well going from a wide range of I would say around 2700k to 6000k. Remote works flawlessly. Setting up was quick and easy. Just put up the stand, the umbrella, screw in the bulb, put on the cover then plug it in and turn it on. Took me less than 5 mins to put together and take down was just as easy. Carrying case is convenient for storage or if I need to move it around. I've been investing in some better quality lighting for streaming and I bought this light to serve as my fill light. I learned a bit about 3-point lighting and I realized that I had been lighting myself too harshly when I streamed by only using one bright light. I invested in a few additional lights and I needed a soft but bright fill light to serve as the main light for my system. I found this decently priced light and hoped the softbox was gentle enough that it wouldn't create harsh shadows, bright enough to light me well, and warm enough that I didn't look like I was streaming from antarctica. This definitely took the pictures I was taking to the next level. We have terrible lighting in our home so unless you're in a room during the day to capture the sunlight, any pictures you take turn out terrible. I run a business and need to photograph inventory and this softbox changed the game for me! I love how easy it was to set up. The dimmable lights and different color temps are so beneficial.
