So far it’s been great for a 10 year old and the parents doing some tests. App does not allow the device to be completely locked down to accessing higher speeds but I guess the app can always be changed… The handle itself isn’t adjustable for height. So if you’re particularly tall or short - this is not for you. No major issues with the wheels but it’s rough if you’re over 200 lbs on old asphalt road pavement. No safety concerns as of yet!

Item: Nexiscoot Electric Scooter for Adults & Teens, 350W/500W Motor, 8.5" Solid Tires, Max 19 MPH & 19/21 Miles Range, Foldable E-Scooter with Ok, so I got to test this out on a dirt road which does have its fair share of lumps and bumps and this isn't really made for that, so do so at your own risk. It was bumpy but I kept my weight shifted more toward the rear and thankfully, I had no issues. In any case, I don't recommend riding on a dirt road as it can be dangerous, rock meets small tire, or even a good size dip and enough said. In one instance, I rode it for about 3 to 4 miles over a few days and ran the battery down half way. Bear in mind that this is under rougher than normal usage conditions. For example, I also have a somewhat steep hill not far away that I attempted and it struggled with that. It did make it with some help but I wouldn't recommend it for steep inclines. I would think under normal conditions and usage that it would perform quite well and likely go much farther. According to the speedometer, I managed to hit 21 MPH on a level straight-away and it certainly felt like I was moving at a good clip. Now, these scooters are meant for two handed operation at all times, so don't get silly on them. The scooter is easy enough to steer, just keep a firm grip on the handlebars and the operation is controlled as follows: left hand - brake, right thumb - speed, then there's the mode/gear/speed select which is controlled by pressing the button on the stem to select which mode you want. There is one exception, changing gears is a pain when you are already moving as you need to keep both hands on the handlebars for stability and you have to press the button to shift. This can just barely be done, but not really safely. Charging takes about 4-5 hours depending. Solid tires make for a very firm ride and you will feel every little bump in the road. The handlebars fold down and secure which lowers it's overall profile, makes it easy to carry and store as needed. Although it does weigh a decent amount. In some aspects, it's better than I expected, but I still consider it an entry level scooter. And again, don't use it on dirt roads.

This a a really amazing scooter! We have one electric scooter, but my husband actually likes to use it when we are trying to round up our son from a neighborhood friend's house for dinner, etc. So glad we were able to try this one out, because now he has his own! This one is actually a lot thinner than the other one we have, so my son took this one as his own. It goes plenty fast for him - he was able to get it up to 18mph. He doesn't need to charge it very often, so the battery life seems to be long. Assembly was easy. My son has never had any issues with it, nor has my husband when he has taken it out. I like that it can be folded up as well. Definitely a great purchase!

For $170 this is a genuinely solid electric scooter. I've been taking it on short commutes around town and it handles the job without complaint. The 500W motor gives decent acceleration and isn't too loud either. The three speed modes are actually useful since ECO mode keeps things chill for neighborhood streets while S Mode hits 19 MPH when I need to move faster. It folds up in literally two seconds which is great for tossing it into my car trunk or storing under the desk at work. The disc brakes feel responsive and I haven't had any issues stopping quickly, even going downhill. The aluminum frame feels sturdy enough for daily use without being too heavy to carry around upstairs. My main gripe is that the solid tires make it a bit bumpy on rough pavement... I wish they'd gone with pneumatic ones for better comfort. The app control works fine but isn't really necessary since the physical buttons do everything I need anyway. Overall this is a great value scooter that does what it promises without any major flaws.

Ok. The build quality seems decent base on the price point. I would say this is still an entry level scooter with a few extra features over some of the cheaper ones available. It seems like it could be a good scooter. Not too heavy but stable. Now why did I say it seems like...well for some reason when the scooter arrived, the box was ripped. Upon opening it the scooter was in good condition but there was no hardware or charging cable. So since the scooter handle needs to be screwed in, I couldn't ride it without the missing screws in a safe manner. Since the charger is missing I cant verify it either. I did attempt to ride it in my living room with a loose handle and the back tire seems like the brake is too tight. The motor wheel does not move without force. I think this is one that missed the quality control department. Based on my receiving of this product unfortunately I cant recommend due to safety and the possibility of having a scooter that I could not test due to missing and possibility defective parts.

Don’t waste your money worth 50$ , the speed on this thing is terrible caps out at like 8 to 11mph 🙃 battery life is 20 mins 😀so beware this is a scam the suspension awful feel like your feet about to break mind you this is within one day and it was on sport mode and i was moving slow

This is an excellent scooter. It works exactly as advertised and looks even better in person. It is actually basically ready to ride right out of the box other than the fact that it needs to be charged first. There is no assembly required. This scooter only required one slight adjustment which was that I tightened the brake cable barrel adjuster to make the break feel firmer this was actually not required and was more just me being a perfectionist. This scooter is front wheel drive which I was kind of surprised by but actually once writing it realized that is much better way to go. The scooter handles well and stops easily with the provided disc brake, and the headlight is surprisingly bright allowing night riding without too much trouble. It handles well and rides fairly nicely with the rubber tires. This scooter is well made and feels very solid. It also includes an app that allows you to track how many miles you have ridden etc. My daughter has ridden this scooter for many many miles and loves it. It can push a full grown adult without too much trouble at all but really excels with a lighter rider. The battery life is good and can propel my teen daughter for 10+ miles on a charge going up and down a slight incline. Scooter folds up easily and is compact when folded.

This is a nice affordable electric scooter. Functionally it works really well. There are three different speeds, up to about 19 MPH. Going faster of course effects the range. And going at the fastest speeds does seem to drain the battery quite a bit. That said the range seems very good and I never ran into an instance where the battery was going to die on my quickly, though I only cruise around fairly close to home. A few other things to note. The wheels are solid, not air filled. So you will feel big bumps and they recommend to bend your knees a little going over bumps. The folding mechanism works well, though it can be difficult to undo the latch to fold it up, as it's quite stiff so requires a bit of force. Another issue is the placement of the charger port is a bit inconvenient, as it's underneath the scooter, so you have to reach under or flip it on it's side to plug the charger in. Another thing that is a bit concerning, is the charger itself gets VERY hot. I checked the temps, and a hot spot next to the LED on the charger gets up to 159 degrees F. There is also no indication of how much charge the scooter has while charging, just a red or green light to show it's done. I'd like an easy way to see if it's mostly charged or not without having to turn it on. It seems there is an app available, but I don't necessarily want another app on my phone and another device that needs to communicate with it for limited functionality. The scooter also has a good build quality. With a lot of solid metal parts, nice rubber hand grips. And large solid feeling wheels. It feels durable when riding, and solidly built. Nothing feels like it will fall apart. The folding mechanism is very nice, and convenient for carrying and storage. Though it is quite heavy, so you wouldn't want to carry it long distances. The colors on it are fairly basic, black with some red highlights. But it looks good and more importantly functions well without issue. Overall I think you are getting a lot of scooter for the $189 cost at time of review. So as far as value, I think it's a great value for the money. Though I do have some safety concerns with how hard they are pushing the charger for the scooter and the high external temperatures when charging.
