This is junk. worked for sewing a tiny doll pillow. Now, no matter how many times I re-thread it, it won't work. Just makes knots and jams. Very disappointed in this item.. was a gift for my daughter who has a big interest in sewing and creating.

This little machine is perfect for beginning sewers. I bought it for my 6 year old great granddaughter who wanted to learn how to sew but I think it would be good for adults who have toyed with the ideal of learning to sew before investing in an expensive sewing machine. It has several different stitches including button holes. Also goes in reverse, a plus from another child's sewing machine I considered. My granddaughter has been thrilled with this machine and I started her with learning a simple headband. She made a headband for her sister and for her friend at school and after that the girls in her class keep asking her if she will make them one. She has made about 8 now and just tonight said she has three more girls asking her to make them headbands. I'm thrilled she has taken such an interest in sewing and I'm sure because of the quality, and resonable price of this machine it has surely helped. I would highly recommend this little machine for beginners.

Thread keeps getting tangled up in the bobbin and the lever holding the presser foot in place is too loose so the foot comes detached while sewing. I would not recommend this at all.

I am a very new beginner to sewing machines. I read the instructions and watched youtube videos to learn how to use this machine, or any sewing machine for the matter. This machine is just like any larger sewing machine but smaller. I had some issues at first getting the bobbin to stay untangled, but then I figured out it was in my err. After I figured out how to use the bobbin properly this machine was very enjoyable. We created 20 masks for school, and will be creating a quilt soon! Highly recommend!

Right out of the box, the sewing machine I received looked different from the advertised picture. I bought the purple one. In the advertised picture, it showed white and purple. The one I received was a light purple overall color and purple buttons (see picture). Not a big deal though. It was still cute. Then came time for me to try it. It came already threaded and ready to use so first thing I did was test out the sewing. Right away the thread broke. So then when I tried to practice threading it, I quickly realized my aging eyes needed help with threading the needle. Even with the provided threader helper (I can't recall the name of it), I still couldn't see well. I ended up having to return it and purchase another model that has an automatic needle threader (Brother XM2701 that had great reviews). I was disappointed that it didn't work for me because the machine was really cute and very portable and lightweight (only approx. 5 lbs).

My daughter wanted a small machine to just hem pants, nothing crazy. We set it up as per instructions. It would make 2 stitches and the it jammed while knotting up all the thread underneath, I had to manually go in reverse to release the material. The needle wouldn't move forward, I was afraid to force it. I tries it multiple times and searched trouble shooting. I watched YouTube videos, nothing. DON'T BUY!! Couldn't return, it was a gift and by the tie we got it set up and did the multiple tries, the return window was closed.
