this does not work for a rsx type s pump the body gasket is different maybe i made the mistake ordering the wrong kit but just a heads up it does not work for a rsx

My car is 2004 Honda Civic lx. For the cover big circle o ring, you have to use the only non o shaped ring in this kit. The length is actually the same, but putting it in the grove would be a challenge. You may ask a friend to have more hands to hold it and place it in the grove and not having any oil in it would make the sitting easier. Another thing is, my pump has only 1 dowel pin, the bottom has 2 holes, and it has to be installed on the slightly larger oval hole first. All YouTube either have 2 pins or they didn't show this very important detail at all. Also the top piece should be installed with the dot side up. ... show more

Not all o-rings will be used if you plan to rebuild your 08 Acura MDX PS pump. Everything went in great. Not an issue using the parts that was included. Now I have a spare PS pump if the aftermarket one ever has issues. Pictured are my old seals that was removed. You’ll only be replacing 6 of them.

    • 2003 Honda Pilot, only some seals fit.
Was able to use only 4 seals/o-ring. Unusable o-rings had either the incorrect diameter or incorrect thickness. Buy a different kit if working on a 03 Honda Pilot pump.

This worked well on my 2001 Honda Odyssey to rebuild the factory power steering pump. Super easy and straightforward and this new gasket sealed much better and fixed the tremendous leak that I once had.
