This worked great on my K5. Seriously improved handling/wandering my stock stabilizer was leaking and probably gone. I installed it as directed for a Chevy 4x4 using the stock location on the drivers side and new stabilizer on the passenger side. The install is super easy, just don’t tighten anything until you are fully Assembled took 30 minutes..if you have an impact use it on the old bolts. If you have a square body 4x4 and only have one steering stabilizer BUY THIS! It will make a difference. ... show more

Easy to install and they work well. Looks much better than the old plain white & rust stabilizers that were on my truck. Rough Country steering stabilizers are a good choice in my opinion.

Kit shipped fast. Does not come with installation instructions. You will need to reference the website to get any kind of install reference. Kit does not include stickers for the stabilizers. I spent the time to prep all the bolts before install. The 8 nuts for the Ubolts wools not thread down. I figured the bolts in the package were the wrong size so I called the Rough Country customer service and spoke to Jon S. I explained that they wouldn’t fit and he asked me to email him my proof of purchase, which I did with no response. After leaving him 3 unanswered voicemails and 3 unanswered emails - it was clear this brand knows there’s a problem and dont care about the truck community, I assume they all drive Prius. After spending money on new nuts and talking with the hardware store near me- the threads on the Ubolts are flat on one side from when they were manufactured. This is an obvious mfg defect and they won’t even respond to me. I’m not sure how many others are going through the same issue. Very frustrating. I guess I should just keep buying and returning the units, costing them a lot more than just sending me the correct Ubolts. Ugh. ... show more
