This is a perfect 1 to 1 part. Installation was not too difficult in my k1500. Grinding off the rivets from the old part was the most time consuming. After installing my sterring wheel was solid. If you have replaced your front end steering and suspension parts and are wondering what’s causing your steering wander… this has solved my issue on my ‘97 Chevy C1500 and also my 1995 Chevy Tahoe 2dr. It’s easy to change out in less than an hour. There’s plenty of YouTube videos if you’re not familiar with doing the job. I’m a mechanic so I’ve done plenty. Hope this helps someone… ... show more

    • Perfect fit it took seconds.
It took less than 60 seconds to slip it on the gear box. 4 minutes to bolt the coupler to the shaft. Twenty minutes ,at most , to remove the rivets from the shaft. Less than 1 hour total,to complete the job. Thank your employees for doing a great job.

    • This Will Fit,, BUT
This Will Replace the Original worn out Rag joint instead of getting a New Complete Input Shaft, IF You have a few Tools and a Little Skill. This is Much Sturdier than what you get on a Re-manufactured Input Shaft. BUT I'm not real Impressed with the Bolts that come with it to replace the Rivets holding the Old Rag joint in place. I Upgraded them to Grade 8 Shoulder Bolts : 3\8 x 5\16 x 5\16-18 with a Short Flex-Top Lock nut 5\16-18. ... show more
