  • Good quiet pump for the money.
Had to replace steering pump on 2015 JKU Rubicon with 35 in. tires after original failed. Unit looks just like original Chrysler brand minus the Chrysler star stamped into the casing. I also replaced the steering fluid reservoir with the one from Omix-Ada at the same time incase my screen in the old one was clogged as some have mentioned. After assembly I filled it up halfway with Lucas power steering fluid with conditioner, then turned the steering wheel back and forth without engine running about 25 times to get any air in the line out. I then added ATF +4 that the manual calls for to the bottom Cool mark on the reservoir and repeated process 3 times to ensure no air in the lines. After initial starting of the engine and cycling the steering some more to make sure all air was out. I checked reservoir again and added fluid as needed and filled to the bottom Cool mark. Everything is good and quiet so far and I have power steering again. I will add updates on how it holds up compared to original pump over time, but so far it is good. ... show more

  • Wrong part
The description mentions that this would fit my wrangler 2017, once the part was installed it was not the right part and it ended up messing up the belts and I had to purchase inquiring an extra cost because I had to purchase the right one since it was too late to ask for a refund or replacement

  • Fit perfectly
Works like it should and is quiet as can be. If you're changing yours because of whining, it's probably due to your reservoir, so before starting the engine, make sure the bottom of your reservoir is not full of shavings and sediment from wear. I recommend replacing the reservoir as they only cost $20. ... show more

  • Looks like a used pump
pulled the pump out of the box, looks used and has a wet spot from what looks like it has leaked at one time but will update after installation It is working but makes winding noise sometimes

  • Pump worked for a week.
The PS pump worked for about a week after driving a total of about 2 hours max. Pump was installed correctly and bled as directed using a proper vacuum bleeder. Seller does not show "Refund" as an option. For that reason I would not recommend this product as I am now out the full purchase price and will have to purchase another one from another seller. ... show more

  • Not bad
Not bad for price at first inspection. Would have to see how long it runs. Had a moment of failure in power steering but that might be from some other issue, because power returned later.
