The media could not be loaded. Let me start by mentioning I’ve used a few draw plates in the past- all very subpar quality. At first I went for an $11 round draw plate at the start of my metalsmithing journey, and I could not understand why the plate would not draw wire through. I tried everything, first filing down the first few mm’s, annealing the metal well, using beeswax, hammering wire through a bit, and no matter what, the plate would not draw the wire through. MY PRAYERS HAVE BEEN ANSWERED with this Newry round draw plate!!!!! I am beyond happy and grateful to have a draw plate that works, and works with ease. From my bad experience with the cheap draw plate I was hesitant & scared, but all my anxieties are at rest and now I can make round wire without nearly pulling my arms out of socket. This plate works like a dream. I didn’t even use draw tongs, just thin needle nose pliers with teeth, and the wire pulls through like BUTTER. I am so beyond happy. In fact, with this excellent price point I am ecstatic I didn’t have to spend $100++. Someday I’ll invest in the PepeTools all wire rolling mill, but even then for very small diameter wire I’d need to use my new draw plate. Thank you for a quality product that I can use without issue, and with extremely minimal exertion. You can see in the video how easy it is to use and you can witness the high quality of the product. I highly recommend this as an excellent QUALITY draw plate. I’m happy!

Ok let me tell you about my honest review!! I was skeptical about purchasing another Drawplate because the one I purchased somewhere else, it was not made well! It was not smooth at all, it was shaving my metal and hard to pull every time that’s for sure! I about cried cuz I didn’t think it’s supposed to be made this way!! My boyfriend couldn’t even deal with it anymore! The holes were not consistent!! My last resort was to look on Amazon from this seller and I did not want to pay for another one and be screwed again but I’m 45 yrs old and lanky lol so I went with a review from a lady on here that was 60 something so I trusted her on what she said and you know what, I am in love with this Drawplate from this seller!! I immediately got into the Drawplate and started working with it so low and behold, my heart melted because it is so SMOOTH and DOES NOT SHAVE YOUR METAL, the HOLES were consistent to a T that now all I want to do is more wires and to think I was going to give up! Well here you go, that’s my honest review and thank you so much from this trusted seller and item was as expected, fast shipping also! Get one now!!

1. The tungsten carbide inserts are insecure. Two of them popped out on me. 2. The holes are poorly sized. I am getting undersized wires. 3. The holes are poorly polished. Some holes will cut a groove on the wire.
