Purchased this for our Airbnb because it offered all the options we needed to remotely control and give access to guests plus it had the lowest profile which fits nicely between the metal entry door and the screen/storm door all while be the best looking (IMO) of the entry door locks we researched. Tech support was quick to respond to the one question we had about its operation. Works with as little as 4 digit pass codes or up to 9 with any amount in between. Batteries seem easy to change (they were easy to install). We have had this for about 8 weeks and battery level is @ 85%, the level read out on the app should give us plenty of notice to change the batteries when needed. We have tried all but one of the options to get into our condo, pass code, fob & app, don't have a need to do fingerprint, that is why it is not rated. Since all the other methods function as advertised don't see why fingerprint wouldn't also. We have no problem recommending this entry door lock. ... show more

But it’s also important to have a reliable product. Fingerprint reader was unreliable from the get go and turned out to be useless through the life of the product-which was woefully short. If this is designed for outdoor use it’s probably in as sheltered a location as possible. It’s definitely not sturdy enough to live up to being in the elements; sun, rain, cold, heat, etc. Lock died within the year which is unfortunate as it had the makings of being a good value product. UPDATE: Seller offered a refund which goes a long way to at least leaving a more positive experience for me. They were quick and responsive to the problem. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Was a pain to install. Finger print works ok. Hate that I can’t just turn the entire locking mechanism off when we have parties and people are coming in and out. I usually just attach the rfid reader on the door knob so I don’t have to tell everyone and they’re brother what our code is. Winter time. Ohhh winter time. Never fails! It goes rogue every single winter!! I included a video to show this. It just sits there and punches numbers in on its own. It has the propper batteries too that it recommends. I’ve been down this road with technical support before. It literally locked us out of our home before because it did this all day while we were gone at work and killed the battery eventually. Had to break into the house through the window. All I have to say is I hate that you can’t switch it off and it’s not cold tolerant at all!
