The most important thing to check before purchase... is this the correct TPM 2.0 for my motherboard make and model. This worked perfectly on my MSI MPG-Z390 Gaming Plus (MS-7B51). TPM 2.0 was recognized in bios. Be sure you enable it in bios, or have that set to auto-detect. One other thing, if you're upgrading to Windows 11 and don't want the work-around and prefer the encryption from TPM.. you have to be sure your OS Hard Drive is GPT and not MBR. I had to change and used EASEUS Drive Partition Master and it worked without any data loss. I'm now running Windows 11 Pro! Once you change your Drive from MBR to GPT, you won't be able to log in under the old legacy Drive (MBR), be sure to change that in your bios settings, and enable the new UEFI compatible conversion Hard Drive which you have just created converting to GPT. Swap the boot Drive from the legacy listed MBR Drive to the UEFI Drive and you'll boot up in secure boot just fine. You can now run the Microsoft Computer Health check and then install the free Windows 11 update. ... show more
