Great point and shoot digital camera. This camera has both an optical viewfinder and an LCD screen. I love the optical viewfinder when taking a picture in sunlight which darn near makes seeing anything on an LCD screen impossible. I use the optical viewfinder when shooting pictures outdoors and the LCD screen when shooting pictures indoors. It is so nice to have a camera with both options. I don't know why all cameras don't have both an optical viewfinder and LCD screen as this camera does. I also love this camera is point and shoot without a myraid of complicated features. When I shoot a picture on the spur of the moment, I don't want to fool around with a bunch of settings. I also love the price of this camera. First thing I faced is that I can insert the battery the wrong way, and it will not charged. Yes, instructions explain how it should be installed - but it would be better if the camera doesn't let me to insert the battery wrong way (as it does with the sim card, for example). Quality of images is good if I don't use zoom. With digital zoom the quality drops drastically in my opinion, up to the level that I would not use the zoom at all. There was a moment when I thought, "My cell phone has a camera, why do I need this?" But having the product in my hands and experiencing the 5K quality of the pictures... it's something else!!!!!! There are three things this camera can do that your phone can't. First, the quality of the pics is incredible, you can expand the pic and crop a small detail, and it looks like the original resolution. Second, you can insert a micro SD card of any size and make it as capable (storage-wise) as you want. I bought this as a backup to my iPhone just in case. I was testing it before the big trip. Practicing on landscapes and live critters. It did great in static landscapes and truly was point and shoot. But when it came to the live critters , it took so long to focus, the dogs stopped smiling and moved on to other things. The picture was a great blurred shot of them ambling off. Decided it won’t work for fast paced train shots. So if all you want to do is shoot landscapes, go for it. But if you want to do anything even remotely related to anything else, you might want to keep looking. Was disappointed but not enough to give it 1 star ... show more
