Worth every single penny. Definitely a game changer if you've got a spot that's hard to get to or that you don't want to disturb just to change batteries. Put mine up 6 months ago and have yet to see them lose a percentage of battery. These panels will also charge the rechargeable battery pack for the cameras whenever the battery pack on the solar panel is fully charged. When I checked them a few weeks ago, they were still in perfect working order with no visual signs of wear and tear. Works great! I started with 12 AA batteries and then upgraded to the lithium cartridge. Now paired with this solar panel I don't have to worry about changing or charging batteries. This is power that I can rely on! Well worth the upgrade and happy with my purchase.

I run about 6 of these and have really good success. I never need to charge batteries (ever) however in the past year the seals around the port for the 12v plug have essentially deteriorated. I lost two of these they just never functioned again after that. I did leave it a 4 instead of a 3 because they did give me two good years before failing, which is better than others. ... show more
