Well, thankfully I haven't had to use this. However, it does provide a bit of peace of mind knowing it's there if needed. I primarily bought it in case my car is ever submerged and with all the crazy and unexpected flooding from North Carolina, Texas and now, New Mexico, I think everyone should have one. It occurred to me after I bought them that these can be used in more than one situation. Heaven forbid, but what if I come upon an accident where I need to help someone get out of their vehicle, but the door was jammed? Or if a baby or pet is left in a hot car and the owner cannot be found quickly? It easily clipped onto my visor, but it can also attach to your key ring or window.

Hopefully i will never have to use. We get a lot of flooded cars in Houston and many accidents on the road I am close to, but hopefully I don't have to use. It is a peace of mind thing when I am on the road. At home I have other tools I have not used it so I gave it a 4. I cannot in clean conscience give it a 5. The seller contacted me politely to re-write my review so I am doing so I keep one in each car and hope the cops don't harass me as it could be a tool for another purpose (seller assures me that it is allowed. I will need to confirm with some rural police units to be sure It is well made. I tested as the seller says, but again, I cannot be sure unless I break my car windows. I am not going to do that. Make your mind please

It feels flimsy and weak. It has a hard time clipping on to the visor where it looks like it should go. It starts sliding off without much effort. I hope it can do what it advertises.

We watched some you tube video showed how hard is to get out of your car if flipped over or hurt. Seat rests belt buckles didn't work but this thing did. Wife had to have for her and kids cars. Why not spend couple bucks make feel safer. Haven't flipped my car and had to cut myself out or break windows yet but looks like it would work. Who knows maybe ill get bored try on wife's car.
