Getting laser treatments in a clinic is costly and time consuming, so I would much prefer an at home solution like the Nood Flasher 2.0. This is an all in one kit with the IPL laser and some after care lotion. The IPL laser is very easy to use, just plug in the included AC adapter, power it on, and change it to the appropriate setting. The instruction manual is very detailed and the device is simple to set up and get to use. This kit does not come with a couple of things I've seen in other kits. There is no razor blade which is fine as I would prefer to use my own, and there are no protective sunglasses. For me the sunglasses are not a major issue since I have a set from another kit but if you are using this just point the device directly on your skin and angle away from your face or get some sunglasses. The after care lotion is suppose to inhibit hair growth according to the bottle, also the bottle says Made in USA. Using this IPL device I did not get any pain, but there is a warm sensation. It does take time, so break up an area into sections and tackle section by section if you are doing a large area like your back. Overall I do like this kit and think it's well worth the money, it is simple to set up, works well, and use and doing it at home far more convenient than driving out to clinic.

I chose this to work on the back of my husband’s neck. It is recommended for almost any area that hair grows. I have been trimming and shaving his neck frequently for many years. We both wanted to find a way to have everything look neat without all the extra steps. This laser hair removal device from Nood is well made, in my opinion. It feels heavy duty when I am using it. The unit has different timers and recommendations. The listing does give guidelines. It is not recommended by the manufacturer for all types of hair and all skin tones. We both fit within the recommended treatment guideline. I am using this on the back of my husband’s neck per the directions. I am seeing what I think are results after a few weeks. We will continue and see what progress we have made after a month or more.

I just received this and did an initial skin test. I won't be able to give a full review for at least 4 weeks, so I am giving my initial thoughts and will add to my review once I've used the device for a month to give my feedback on its effectiveness for hair removal. For background, I am fair skinned with hair that varies from light brown to blonde/white. This obviously makes laser hair removal not 100% effective for me, and because even my darkest hair is not that dark relative to my skin color, laser takes a long time to work (I understand this to be because a higher level can't be used where there isn't enough difference in pigmentation between skin and hair). So I've probably had hundreds of laser hair removal sessions on my underarms, legs, and bikini line, and have managed to get rid of all but a few of the brown hairs in these areas (leaving mostly just fine white/blonde hair). I've also done electrolysis, which takes forever and is 100% timing dependent since those few hairs are only growing 1/3 of the time, but I find the few lingering brown hairs super annoying because I can't ever fully stop shaving or they find the most inopportune time to show up and look really obvious at the beach or pool. Hence, my desire to try an at-home treatment that doesn't require me to guess when I should schedule electrolysis to remove the stragglers. To be clear, I am not expecting this device to work on my blonde/white hairs. So back to this device. The device itself is very sleek looking and pretty lightweight. It looks very similar to the laser head your laser tech uses if you've had professional laser removal - it's just not attached to a large machine and instead just plugs into the wall. I was a little surprised to hear a fan when I turned it on, but it does make sense that it would need a way to cool itself. The display is easy to read and there are only two buttons, so there are limited things you can mess up. The devices flashes a bright red light when you push the middle button. During the skin test, you are instructed to progressively increase the level until the pain is no longer tolerable, and the last level at which pain is tolerable is your treatment level. I actually didn't have any pain even at level 7, but there was a burnt smell after I finished the test, which made me worry that I might have burned my skin since I was careful to shave the test area thoroughly. I guess I will find out soon, but it does seem like pain level might not be the best way to determine treatment level since everyone has different experiences of pain. I also don't see anything on the website FAQ about this so I'm unsure what other indicators there might be of the best treatment level for your skin. The instruction booklet also recommends using eyewear, but the FAQs on the website say protective eyewear is not required. Given the mixed messaging, I do wish the package included the recommended eyewear so you have the option to wear it if you prefer. I didn't notice any eye pain or afterimages during my skin test, but I haven't used the device for a long period of time to know whether that might cause eye problems. It would also be really, really nice if this product came with a nice storage case. I guess the box it came in is OK and can be used for storage, but I would really love to have a more durable, nice-looking case to store it in to protect it from all the other junk in my bathroom drawers. The serum that came in this set has a lightweight, creamy consistency and sinks into your skin easily. I had no irritation from it but again will need to circle back once I've used it more extensively to give my thoughts on whether it actually reduces hair growth. Overall, it seems like a well-made product but I wish it came with safety glasses and a storage case. I will update after a month or so of use on effectiveness.

’ve been using this for a few weeks now and I’m honestly impressed. It’s super easy to use and doesn’t take a ton of time once you get into a routine.
