Love the feel and casting ability of the braided line. I use both 30lb and 50lb test. On the 50lb test you can feel every single thing which i love and is super strong compared to other braid that i have used from more expensive companies.

You gotta learn a few different knots to fish with braid but that's easy to do and soooo worth it. Learn the palomar knot for terminal tackle and the crazy alberto knot for tying on a fluorocarbon or monofilament leader and you won't be disappointed. Not for use on closed face spincasting reels.

the line started to break when i would get a more the average fish and when i checked the line it had like fine thin hairs all up and down the line i put new line on this line does cast great no wind knots

I have at least half a dozen baistcasters and spinners spooled with this braid, from 15lb to 40lb, each with their own particular application. It spools and lays flawlessly, and I’ve yet to break it off no matter what lb I’m using. I’m certainly not an expert on braided line, but I’ve used multiple brands the last dozen years. When I finally pulled the trigger on the Kast King line of braid, I never looked back. I’ve used it now for years, including, most recently, the Destron version, and like all the Kast King braided options, this one performs stellarly. It’s smooth, non-obtrusive, durable, reliable, and it just plain works on a variety of reels. Out of hundreds of casts, particularly with my baitcasters, I’ve only bird-nested it once. And that was operator error. INMHO, it’s unnecessary to spend $30, $40, or even $50 on higher priced braid, unless you’re just not a fan of frugality. As it relates to Kast King’s line of braided lines, you unequivocally get frugality PLUS quality. As for me (and I’m just a lowly southern boy who loves to tear into a pond, lake or swamp full of bass), I will not use another brand of braided line unless it says “Kast King” on the label. Great price for braided line! I just used the Kastking braided line on two of my freshwater reels. Spooled on easily, casted out fine on my first outing. My previous braided line was on my reels for about 5 years, let hope these hold up just as long!

I ordered this for a new spinning rod. It’s been great so far and I’m happy with how the braid absorbs line twist much better than mono or fleuro. Pairs great with a 8lb fleuro leader on a surgeons knot

Durable and has no memory, holds a good knot. Used on Pflueger President 35. Spent 1.5 hours fishing, it was windy, so I expected some wind knots. I got a wind knot every cast… pulled this stuff off and loaded up with 8lb mono and like a miracle the wind knots didn’t recur for the next 2 hours. Same reel, pole, wind, just changed the line.
