bought a new rod this year and i've never used braided line before, ever. it was simple and easy to install on the reel. no hangups and i don't even think it matters how you reel it on. it never sprang off and was again easy to install. and i'm by no means a fishing expert. i'm a noob this line is strong, very strong. i purchased this and another brand that were both tested at 15lbs. the clear line that's i guess standard or whatever was a pain to install and once i got it on the reel it snapped almost every time. i could break it just by pulling apart with my hands. this line however is just fantastic. it casts great, the best I've ever casted with this line. and it's tough!. my brother got snagged and started reeling away... by the time he was done he pulled up basically a small tree you'd plant in front of your house. it was a huge limb that was laying in the waters. so far it's great i've never had a line break wile a fish was on (granted i haven't any big ones yet but it still held up great). a side note look at the line every few casts. i noticed the braid will start to thin after a wile. and will break. by you're lure i've noticed it turns a lighter shade of green... if you see this cut above and re-rig your lure. this is usually a sign it's going to snap. i've done this and have yet had a line break.

A Game Changer for Beach Salmon Fishing
This line casts very well and transmits exactly what is going on. I fish in the PNW for Salmon off the beaches of Puget Sound. Pair the 10-pound test up with a Tica HLBB heavy action 10-foot rod and a decent spinning reel and you have a lethal BuzzBomb rig. I estimate that I can throw the 1-ounce lures about 200 feet and still detect even the seaweed contacting the lure. It's very forgiving of line twist too. I find the Palomar knot to be the best choice for attaching the terminal tackle; the line always breaks before the knot. For line-to-line connections, I am very with the double uni-knot, however, I double the line over before tying the knot because the line is so thin it cuts mono too easily.

Great, durable braid
Typically used for trout fishing, I’ve had this line on one of my ultra-light set ups for the last 6 months. There’s been minimal fading over that span, and no line breaks. In fact, the only place that my line has broken is on the knot connecting the Spectra braid to my fluorocarbon leader: so, more a problem with knot strength on my end. Incredibly abrasion-resistant, even coming over or around rocks and ice with no problem or noticeable wear.

Can’t go wrong with power pro
Best fishing line I have ever used hands down... I have been using the 15LB and 20LB for years the sensitivity and abrasion resistance is second to nothing out there I have power pro on some reels that’s been on for years top 20+- yds have significant color fade .... still performs ... best line ever
