The pen is pretty tight with the cap. Which I think it's great so it won't easily fall from carrying in your key chain. I like that you can unscrew and possibly replace with new ink. It writes smoothly and it fits perfect on my hand The package it came in is nice and Kate Spade logo perfect for a gift. The pen’s design is as advertised. Writes smoothly as expected. Medium ballpoint size. Item’s packaging is in perfect condition. I wanted to preserve the packaging and the box itself, so I just slid the pen off from the two bottom bands/ties, and just untied the top part and then tied the band back on the carton.
