Direct drop in replacement as advertised, btw this is my 3rd DB Electrical purchase. Replaced my Starter and Alt on a 2006 Nissan Frontier and they have worked great for over 2+yrs. So when my Dad's alt started acting up on his 2010 Chevy(52k miles) I recommended the DB Electrical product for replacement. His stock alt would randomly act up, symptoms would be the voltage gauge would drop to 9v on the dash when driving, key off/on restart and it would stay at 14.2 ish, several times when the voltage would drop there would be an audible beep.     • Battery light came back on
I had the red battery dash light on, the battery is only one year old. I did some tests and it showed that the alternator was going bad. So I ordered this alternator, installed it and the red light went out, every thing was fine. Now, not even a month later the red light is back on! I will do some tests to see if this alternator is bad, and if it is I will have to send it back. ... show more
