Description
The Elite series 400 amp alternator offers great amperage output and durability at a great price. These impressive alternators produce 200+ at engine idle RPM and 400+ amps at cruising speeds HOT RATED. Like most high output alternators, this unit comes with a smaller diameter pulley, and will require a 1/2 inch to one inch shorter than stock length belt for proper belt tension in most applications.

Service break booster error (fixed)

Installed on am 03 Avalanche. Now getting an error message saying service break booster. Removed and installed faftory alternator and the message went away, installed this again and the service message comes up again. Any advice would help. Edit: So it turns out that the 3 pin connector that came was not wired correctly. I had to depin A and D on the harness to get rid of that booster error. Truck runs amazing, upgrading to 5 stars now.

Plug & play fixed my voltage drop

Solved my problems no more headlights dimming or voltage drops on my 98 suburban 1500 when I'm playing my music almost full tilt with my headlights & a/c on my voltage hangs at 14.02 - 14.07 . My stock alternator it was dipping down in the 11.5 to 11 volts range which can be damaging for the electrical and all the electronics. Very satisfied

Master Cylinder Voltage low

Super expensive for a cheap alternator. I have lights on the dash about Break sensors or something. I used supplied harness, It’s not a direct swap out. Extreme harness re configuration required.

Not worth it

It said it would fit on my ‘02 Chevy Silverado & it doesn’t. Harness is on the opposite side & to big. Now I’m stuck with it.

It didn't work for me.

I installed it, and even though it's a 400-amp alternator, I'm experiencing voltage drop, despite upgrading the system with 2/0 gauge wiring. The music volume doesn't even reach half of what it should. I did my "big 3" upgrade.

This alternator does not come with an ignition jumper connector???

For the price of this alternator, I should not have to go buy anything or make anything to make it work? It only comes with a yellow wire to hook up to your ignition so you don’t get the message on your truck saying battery is not charging, but why isn’t this in the box? I shouldn’t have to pay for something else that should just be already there so it’s plug-in play? Kind of dumb.
