Unfortunately the starter would not always engage the flywheel. I contacted the seller and he said he would send me a new one once he received the first one. He was very prompt in getting back to me. Unfortunately about that time I had a stroke and put me down for a few months so I never sent it back. I decided that since the seller was so responsive to my problem I figured I would give him another chance and I ordered another one. If you have been in the business as long as I have, 56 years, you know you can get bad brand new parts. The new starter works perfectly. It’s strong, quiet and spins fast, all you need in a starter.     • Alignment issues
Installed it and immediately had misalignment issue. Would only start 1 out of 3 or 4 tries. Repositioned it several times and got only slightly better. I'm not going to use alignment shims, so I returned it. The customer service was good but it did take about a month to get the funds back. But they very courteous ... show more
