Getting the old one out was a task! Bolts very hard to access, but was able to do it with extensions and by feel. Starter works absolutely perfect and seems very well built. That's it!

The bendix went out on the original starter, and I am very pleased with this unit as an exact replacement for the one that came with the truck. I just could not install it myself, as I am older and the top install bolt is out of sight and therefore, difficult to access while lying on the garage floor - even while on jack stands. Difficult to replace. Difficulty in removing the old bolts while laying under the truck. Once I got the bolts out, pulling the old one out and putting the new one in was easy. Putting the bolts back was fun, said sarcastically.
