This is my first miner after much research. This is really meant for solo mining but I use it for pool mining. I may get a second one to solo mine with. The unit is super small but feels well built for a plastic structure with I guess a metal under structure. It has some really bright lights on the front with tons of options If your into that. Nice display ontop for basic info. Setting this up wasn’t hard but the app itself is very lacking. It gets job done hur don’t expect a lot. The unit itself does get hot so yes you can use it as a small heater. I keep mine on medium and the reason why is because on high the wattage this thing pumps out as right at the max capacity of the power adapter. So let’s talk about modes- low, medium, and high..my unit in particular is getting TH of over 6.2 on avg on high, for medium it’s around 5-5.2…so it performs well.. I did have connectivity issues with the wifi usb plug after about a week. Others have complained about it failing or just in and out. I would highly suggest you get a USB to Ethernet adapter like you see in my picture. It’s directly connected to my router and your unit will display the IP address. All you do is manually this unit via the IP to your Avalon App to make setting changes, setup your pool, etc.. So I think this is a great value for the money for they need to improve the app and definitely wifi. The machine is so super quiet on low and medium. If you put on high you can hear it if you get close. I was very impressed with how quiet this is.

This Nano 3s miner has consistently worked well, very quiet and rather cool temperature. Mine runs around 144W, which is within a tolerance of 140 +/- 5, I am satisfied as it typically has a 6-6.5TH/s running on High mode. Keep track of the miner in the Avalon Family app, easy to use and adjust setting. Customer service was also very good. Thank you!

Constantly getting 6.3Th/s with Unmineable in "High" work mode. The AC adapter does getting very hot but it's been running in a backyard shed for a week with no issues. Setting it up is easy. Download the Avalon Family app and pair it with WiFi, add the pools then you are good to go. You can even use this as a space heater during winter days. It consumes 140W (max) of electricity but the heat it dispense from the unit will definitely warms you up in a small room.

The Nano 3s is an easy to set up cryptocurrency miner. I'm running two of them and have done solo mining and pool mining. They run well in both modes. I run them on their highest and fastest setting. They do run warm when set to the high setting. I ran them for months without any issues. I did purchase separate cooling fans for them to sit on for extra cooling. If you've never used cryptocurrency miners before then there is somewhat of a learning curve but it's plenty of information available online to help get them mining for you.

Unit worked great for about 50 days and then stopped working completely. There is no hardware switch to try to power cycle it with. Only a capacitive touch switch. Power supply seems to be working fine. Unit appears to be dead. Do not buy.

If you're looking for quiet this works. Great little home miner. Easy to use App. Must use App to configure. Only drawback is no web interface. But that doesn't matter to me, because it works great! Monitoring speed at pool. Currently mine averages at 6.28 on high. Again, it's quiet enough that I installed it in a bedroom to help heat it. doesn't give off a lot of heat like others I've had.

Awesome little miner rig. Runs consistently at 6.7 TH/s. Easy to set up. Very quiet. Great for lottery mining. No big expectations, but nice to be able to play the game while i can.

Rock-solid stable at 24/7 operation. Whisper Quiet. I'm running 3 of them in my home office and I can barely hear them. Beautiful devices too. The Avalon App is great, very easy to use, and it makes each device incredibly easy to setup, manage and monitor. Highly recommend. Their support is also very helpful: I only needed to reach out because my iPhone is a 12 mini so it's a narrower interface, so there was one menu item I couldn't see. They helped me by recommending that I give my devices a shorter name, and sure enough, the menu item showed up.
