Very nice miner.
Very nice looking miner. It requires an app for setting up the wifi connection and pool. After setting up - the status can be checked using the web interface. I set it up to use the same public.io pool as I used with my other miners. This miner typically provides 7 to 8 th/s hash rate consuming about 130W and the fan is much quieter than the Bitaxe fan.

Working well, quietly!
This Nano 3s miner has consistently worked well, very quiet and rather cool temperature. Mine runs around 144W, which is within a tolerance of 140 +/- 5, I am satisfied as it typically has a 6-6.5TH/s running on High mode. Keep track of the miner in the Avalon Family app, easy to use and adjust setting. Customer service was also very good. Thank you!

Keep an eye on the power supply
Bought 3 so far power supplies on 2 have died and the rms was good a lot of tasks to get it but can be replaced.

Good entry unit for pool or solo
It’s quiet. But the heat output from the unit and the power unit are heavy. You will want to stay away from wood shelving. Center steel or tempered glass. Earning roughly .30 cents a day at current rate after electric. Overclocks well.

Wish I bought this first.
Works great! I wish I bought this first instead of wasting money on nerdminers and bitaxes. This thing works great. Easy to upgrade the cooling, just pop off the exhaust cover and maybe place an external fan facing the intake if your ambient room temp is high.

Good little miner
Stays at a 6.6 th/s at all times and easy to use

Worse than the old 3
You do get 6Th with this and it's not much hotter that the old non-S 3. Same crappy fans that are super easy to get clogged. You no longer can access it with a browser and have to use a very bad and rudimentary app for setaup and maintenance. Even getting the runtime info is doable, but not available in the UI (use curl to download the logs and current stats, google it). But the biggest problem is that they have put arbitrary limits on what can go into the password field of the pool configuration, so you can't use this device with pools that take the config string from the password, such as zor..pool.com for instance. You can't put a comma in the password field! In 2025! Willl most likely be returning this for this reason. Old hot device worked albeit slower. This new one is faster, but the app sucks and the ui is terrible.
