This thread is not as good as Robison-Anton, but it is good embroidery thread for the price. Works great on my Baby Lock. I found that if you are having issues with it, change the needle to a better quality one. Once I did that, the shredding stopped.

    • A jumble of thread spools…
This thread is very sturdy and it’s polyester constitution eradicates the problem of excessive lint that clog my machine and that leave unsightly dark spots in the seams that that come with cotton threads. If I had to complain about one thing, it is that none of the spools are in order so it takes awhile to find the color I want (there is a very helpful color code sheet enclosed with the thread spools.). The threads are arranged on two stacked trays, with the spools arranged in both upright and upside down configurations to conserve space. This means, however, that you have to turn the upside down threads upright to see the color code. It isn’t so annoying that I wouldn’t recommend it. The colors are rich and the thread is very sturdy (I do mostly hand sewing of craft items and quilts, so being able to pull thread taught without it snapping is so important. Having to remove 100 stitches due to the thread snapping is very time inefficient. Polyester thread has significant advantages over cotton thread. If you are seeking a strong, consistent, richly-colored thread, I highly recommend Brothreads’ products. ... show more

I really love the thread. Purchased the 40 spool pack first. Needed more colors so purchased the 63 pack. Instead of repeating my 40 colors I needed all new colors. If I wanted repeat colors I would have purchased another 40 pack. Maybe my mistake was buying 40 pack. Should have started out with the 63 pack. No problem whatsoever with the thread.
